16  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Portraits, Menus, (etc...) / Re: My Custom Menus Showcase on: July 17, 2018, 03:46:42 PM
You should teach me how to make up custom menus. Smiley

The only thing anyone can teach you is how to change the background texture.
It's not like I can re-code the whole menu so the icon navigation could function properly. Tongue

If I can just get everyone's attention on this thread, it would REALLY help me know that everyone is concerned about what's going to happen with my mods and hopefully nobody will annoy me with reports.

So, a few days ago I got a brand new laptop, apparently it isn't the one I wanted because it lacks hard drive space. (About 256 GB and it's a solid state drive which I heard is good to have) I'm gonna send this new computer back and get the other laptop which was my second choice. The truth is I had was looking at two products and dell sent me the wrong one. It will have 256 GB for the SSD, and a perfect amount of storage for me on the hard drive.

So what I would like from most people is to be 100% aware that if all my mods are missing there rightful file link in the download links...Please be patient as I try to get them all re-uploaded when that day comes.
Also, I still have my old hard drive with ALL my hard work on it. I just can't access it until I find a way to get those file off of the drive.

Currently I'm working on backing up my mods in dropbox.

Thank you all who have downloaded and enjoyed my mods the past couple years. I WILL get things back up and running when I can.

This was once a thread of trying to gain other user's knowledge about...Some complicated things...Heh. But now I've decided to just show off my unuploaded menu mods! (May be updated with more mods eventually)

Yes, I currently have a new character moveset/PSA. I'm just waiting for the demonstration video to be made.

Oh yeah forgot about that; it likely is bone count, then
Ok, this all make sense, I too also forgot about that...

Jigglypuff uses a different boneset for it's green slot. Donkey Kong may only read Jigglypuff's default boneset all texture slots causing a crash when the green slot is chosen.

Well, you know what? I just replaced the model and texture files from my model over jigg's green costume. Works properly now, it was only missing the cap model stuff. So thanks to you bro. Wink
22  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Character Slot Crashes Game [SOLVED] on: May 21, 2017, 05:13:00 PM
This is just what I need right now...I have my finished character project over DK,
for some reason his green costume slot crashes seconds after a stage is selected.
I just discovered it has something to do with the .REL file.

DETAILS:

- It's Jigglypuff ported to DK

- The .REL file was downloaded from the "3D Game and Watch" hack

- I used the method for porting Jiggs to DK

- All other costumes work EXCEPT the green costume slot

- Tested the green costume slot with the original "FitDonkey.REL" and worked fine

- I AM NOT USING ANY KIND OF SPECIAL BUILD (BrawlEx, Etc)

Any help please?
23  Super Smash Bros. 4 Hacking / Help / Re: Bone editing? on: March 09, 2017, 07:56:36 AM
I'd love to do some bone editing in Sm4sh. I really hate TRYING to deform my models to fit a boneset.

Even though I've never had any Sm4sh mods before and never got anything to work, haven't been trying
because, I don't know what method to use to mod Sm4sh...
I want some details on this bone editing situation too.

OK. My first time trying to do a texture depth merge for Wii U Cloud.
Gonna have to try and make it close to Sm4sh.

I'm always open to suggestions and tips.
25  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: February 25, 2017, 05:31:57 PM
Uh, those are the respective texture maps. Sorry man. See, that's how Sm4sh models are. It's actually a great thing in my opinion to have them be apart. It's easier to stylize your own texture depth.

Yeah, I figure it was the actual textures but then, I started to doubt it.
I guess your opinion is good to know.
26  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: February 25, 2017, 07:45:28 AM
I still have the original 3DS .dae model if you need it. Only the Advent import, though. I am no good at rigs...

Tell me, where do you find those models with their respective texture maps?
I've been all over the "Models Resource" but they just have color maps, and combining spec maps
with colors isn't worth it.
27  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: February 24, 2017, 05:56:50 PM
I tried combining the 3DS Cloud elements with jrush64's Advent Dissidia model:

Since I'm terrible with character rigging, combining them was my only answer. The sword also has a spec texture to go along.

Aw, man! You could have called me for the job since I was gonna rig Smash Wii U AC Cloud but I don't have the proper textures.

is "very, very" a trump reference?
lol

I don't even know what Trump says and how he says things.
No reference was intended. Tongue

Can't keep it a surprise...

VERY, VERY soon.

Don't worry, it's just a little taste of what I got. There's more like her...
30  Help & Tutorials / Model Tutorials / Re: Unknown Flag: the way to keep your model's shape and dont affect the bonethree on: February 09, 2017, 01:31:32 PM
ohhh, yeah, I have noticed some PSAs which were edited in bb cant be opened with PSA, I remember DAO used to tell me "Brawlbox is the devil when it comes to editing PSAs dude, it corrupts them and makes them unable to be opened with PSA or tabuu", I have added it to the OP now btw

BB might be misunderstood. ^^ This one time I tried to edit Bowser in BB...His specials were unusable in-game, it just make him stay in place like he's frozen. Obviously his specials had been tampered with...wouldn't hurt to re-code and fix them. Other PSA's like Mario or Shiek have that certain coding in there action scripts that might need to be changed in "PSA" before they are opened in BB. I have a not too old Project M PSA for Shiek that I edited in BB.

Post Merge: February 10, 2017, 09:03:46 AM
OK!...I just further tested my moveset file with the flags and it turns out, PSA's made in brawlbox kinda makes a couple animations glitch a little bit with the flags applied. They make the character go in mid air like so.

There IS a little bit of a save here. There's the next unknown flag just under the one we use now. It works perfectly but, it sinks the character into the ground a little...I guess that's "Fixed Translation"?
If you look real close you can see it.
