That, but if you're asking how the program loads the file in a technical since. Riivolution acts as the disk reader and just like Gecko, but the difference is that Riivo doesn't load just codes. It uses the xml file to know what files to replace instead of loading everything on the SD. That being said there is no need for memory alteration. You COULD customize the xml to have more load options, but that isn't really worth it.
I already know how Riivolution works, I just want to know if it can load all types of files that's in the Brawl ISO. Post Merge: September 10, 2014, 03:30:01 PM
I am not entirely sure what you mean, but... The Riivolution .xml you have, figure out what directory it's set to(i.e. ssbb) for the main directory, and just change that all the times it's listed to your desired location for the main directory, and you can just put the Brawl files in that directory. Here is an example: I have my main folder for Brawl hacks as SD Root->ssbb->projectm. The .xml has that directory, but with slashes, instead of arrows, in that .xml. All Super Smash Bros. Brawl mods go into that main directory, but under subdirectories, as always, like "fighter"->"mario"->"FitMario00.pac", for example.
I hope this answer helps!
Well, here's what I mean. I'm using the "Riivolution for gecko users" method so that means I'm using the private folder for mods. I'm trying all kinds of files to fix my issues. .BIN files, .MSBIN files, and even .DAT files. I put their correct path into the .xml and I'm not even sure if those files are detected.
Basically my question would have been "Can the SSBB .xml load all files on the brawl disc?"
I'm starting to get very curious now. The only question is: When editing the xml file for SSBB, will EVERY SINGLE FILE in the brawl ISO be loaded when the path is specified in the xml? Or will I have to do some type of memory editing for the desired files to be loaded? (Well that's two questions).
Pretty sure that Riivolution, you can use both SD cards and USBs, so I think(Not 100% sure though) that if you put the exact contents of your SD copied onto your USB and run Riivolution, that you should be able to do it that way.
I'm using Riivolution right now and I don't have any problems except for the adventure menu thing. So what I'm trying to do is play Brawl off of USB loader but, I have to use the sd file patch code and that freezes. So honestly, I don't see how your explanation can solve my problem.
Alright, so I'm trying to make a switch from Riivo to USB. The Brawl iso works fine without the sd file patch code, but when in use, the game has a silent freeze after the "now loading" screen. The solutions that I tried is taking off some files that might be the cause of the problem...That didn't work. Currently I'm switching back to Riivolution until I get a helpful answer.
If there's any help out there I'd gladly appreciate it thanks.
Honestly I doubt many people know what that kind of sword is called. As far as I know, a ninjato is actually fictional and wasn't used back in the day, as any Japanese swords like that used in the feudal eras were curved.
As for optimization, I probably could. A sword probably wouldn't give me any trouble. However, I wouldn't get around to it anytime soon, so you'd probably have to wait a week before I even started on it.
So you'd optimize this sword for me but I'd have to wait a week? Sounds good but I did a little optimizing myself and I don't think it will look as good as yours when you're done with it. (The handle almost looks like crap) Would you like me to give you the files now?
That...was actually a katana before you straightened it. What you have now is more like a ninjato. Looks good, though.
Am I dumb... (no, I'm not) Btw you wouldn't happen to know anyone that can optimize this sword for less polygons would you? I suck when it comes to optimization...
That's funny, I requested an E-123 Omega PSA a long time ago and never got it because of some issues and delays . But now here's Gamma. I guess you gotta work your way up to E-123 then...
After the 30 day trial you can continue using it, I believe the trial is for the 'Pro' version. Not sure what features it adds, but I've been using WinImage for a loooong time without it xD
:edit: I'll just remove the requirements list to avoid future confusion. I assume anyone who is modding brawl has WinImage right?
:edit: Another bugfix update
"edit:" I guess I can try it without any worries and do the stuff I wanted to do a year back. xD
Lucina confirmed for Smash 4, whoo hoo! (And apparently we made a more unique one than the official one... great job everyone! lol)
Anywho, I'm working on fixes slowly but surely. I'm usually busy with other things as of late, but what I am definitely focusing on was the Aether glitch. I actually got it to happen for me, and although it was hilarious, I think I will have to change that move in some major way. Her overall recovery is definitely getting nerfed, but there will be further trade-offs in response. That's... all for now I guess, haha.
As always, I welcome any suggestions toward improvements and whatnot.
If I was a professional 3D model artist I could make an exact replica of Smash Bros 4 Lucina. The latest Lucina model that's on the vault...Her face is kinda...awkward...
Hm... I may give it a shot... Anything else you'd like to see in the preview video?
I would like to see a glitch fix in the video.
Sorry...I'm currently trying to workout some bugs with the model. It seems that Kirby goes into "T" pose after a certain amount of matches and with certain amount of characters.
Would you mind waiting for me to fix this problem? I don't think I'll be able to fix it unless I get professional help.
I need someone to make a video demonstrating my custom fighter Kirby PSA and maybe someone that can do the best quality possible though.
Here's a sneak peek of the model the PSA uses
If it's not too much to ask for...if the quality of the video is going to be 100% perfect (like screen capture) would you play galacta knights theme in the background of the video? That'd be great.
