At Dhragen if you really are part of Cleod9's dev team then I'll let you be in charge of the 3D Edition. My main focus is Super Smash Brothers. X and that project requires most if not all my hacking/modding time. I'll still be checking in on the 3D Edition project from time to time to see that everything is getting done. I suggest you make a new thread first. I have confiedence in your skills that you'll make an exceptional leader. This 3D Edition will be based off v0.8b and will be updated as the last 2 versions comes out at a later date. Just PM me if you have any more questions. Also I might take a week or 2 off from modding. I'm not quiting, but it has come to my attention I'm not spending the amount of time I should with my girlfriend and baby, and that's not fair to them. I still want to enjoy my summer and get new shcolarships ready so I'm not screwed when the time comes. I'll still work on mods, mainly getting work done for SSBX, and when I return I should have stuff ready for release as well as new previews, so my thread won't be as active. Sorry for those who were looking forward to some of my projects, but you may have to wait. Any other questions then please don't hesitate to PM me. As for those of the SSBX dev team take a break and do as you please, I'll have a ton of new info for the team when I return but everyone has a right to enjoy their summer freely and stress free Grin

I would be pleased by the offer, but i am on the same situation than you are, along with the works i have to do on collegue and stuff. Right now 0.9 is my main focus, and i don't want to get in charge on something that i will not fully attend (or not this year at least), plus i don't know the people who are involved on it at all.

But as i said early, i can give you guys feedback and give constructive critizism about your progress for serve like a guide or reference compared wit the work done on SSF2, but not for such a big position that i can't handle right now, sorry guys, :S

Okay well, as part of the developer team of SSF2 and as a former texture hacker, i want to ask if i can be part of the 3d edition project as some kind of supervisor. I have seen your hacks before guys and i really like the motivation you all have on doing this.

Through i feel you still needs to have some cleanup to do in therms of art style, because honestly, mostly on characters, which on texture quality are too diverse, like on Goku, which is a perfect 3d character translated from a 2d-cell shaded field  and with a great quality on his texture, compared with naruto, that just host the cellshaded style of the game that he went ripped of, it just out of place compared with goku.

I know the character hacks you have wasn't made by yours and you have permission by their autors to use them, there's no problem with that, but at least ask them to edit them or ask permission to do it yourself, having a defined art style on your project really makes the difference between an ambitious and proffessional project and just a fan hack, just look how it was SSF2 on it's earlier stages and now look how it is now.

I wish all of you guys with this, and have faith on your work, when more you do, you improve more, Tongue

Get BrawlBox v.63d Modset 2(if you don't have that).
Also, what texture are you trying to replace and over who and what's texture?

Captain Falcon's face and helmet, but it happen to me with all other textures, like with Pit, Falco, etc..

I have this problem loooooooooong time ago and still unable to fix it.

On Brawlbox (using v063d ATM) when i try to import a new texture to remplace another, this thing appears



Making me unable to remplace textures anymore. The preview mode works perfectly fine however.

Please a little help guys?? Sad

Good effort with the effects at all, but honestly, i don't like it very much because, most of all it's kind of un-canon, the moveset lacks consistency and doesn't fit Terra at all. Just because Terra wasn't able to control his powers at the start, doesn't mean she must be a completly berserker in the use of them.

If you don't mind and take this as constructive critisism, i want to suggest you some changes in your current moveset. I played Final Fantasy VI (my favorite in the series) and have alot of information about Dissidia and Dissidia 012, so i could help you if you wish, Terra is one of my favorites characters and i want to contrubute at the best as possible

-Graviga could go as Up Smash, instead of creating the dark orb in the ground, make Terra raises his hand for  generate a mid-sized dark ball over her head, that absorbs and caughts near enemies as long as you hold the button. When released, the Graviga ball slam them into the floor in front of Terra, being hitstun'd by some time. This could be greatful as a combo starter, and it goes very well with my idea of Flood as Down Smash (get opponent with Usmash Graviga>slam them into the floor> Dsmash Flood)

-Mixing two kind of attacks (Holy and Blizzard) in ONE move doesn't look very good aesthetically, making the move what, Blizzard or Holy?....try to have them separated.

-I don't like the idea of the "Esper Step/Flight" at all. Add instead your idea of your Blizzard nspecial, but as forward special, but without Holy. You could Add the Blizzard Combo of dissidia when you tap the button and Blizzara instead when you hold it, and then you have both a dashing forward and a forward projectile attack at the same time. I like your idea of chaining with Blizzaga after Blizzara too.

-Holy could be alone as neutral b and still being a great projectile, since those are aimed to the opponent and comes in a pack. You could include the Holy Combo from dissidia if you want to keep going with the magic-chained theme.

-Please Change the Senbou Sakura, seriously, change it, its really unfitting and un cannon. I suggest you to change it with Ultima, make it an orb of light that automatic explodes with great force after some time, and make it very contollable,  so you can move it faster to connect after a combo for work as a finisher.

-For Up Smash, your idea for Esper step/flight could go there with another move or fitting magic wise. How it sound Tornado? it's a move Terra uses a lot in Dissidia, and it makes more sense her invinsibility if she raises and moves being surrounded by tornados, attacking at the same time.

And yeah, you have my permission of using my Zelda Terra/Sheik, as i said, i am here to help as much as possible with this, Tongue

It was a very loong time, isn't it?  Grin

For those who don't know me, i am Dhragen, and i am (yeah, still i am) a member of Stack Smash for a very looooong time, but also a sprite developer of Super Smash Flash 2 from Mcleod gaming (responsible of making Black Mage into the game, ;P).

The reason i return posting here is because........i miss most of the people here that i used to talk years ago, and remmember some good old times, even being still on a "retired" mood, which could change someday or not, who knows?, XD

And i see some people like LookItsLink that was using my texture as well for make some vertex hacks, l just thanks too much for them for that (specially the Squall, it looks final fantastic!!).

And that's everything. Sadly not with much free time around, with collegue stuff, SSF2 and normal chores, but i could spend a little here, heh, Tongue

People, sorry by the sad news, but i decided to leave StackSmash forever.

Maybe my old "friends" will delete my textures from the archive downloads, and if that's the case, most of the site in this page will not work, so if a download doesn't work, then that's the case. i must reupload all to BrawlVault eventually just in case, will take a while actually =U.

I gonna revive this threat for shows my textures, it will being the only place where i gonna shows myself as a freelancer actually, XD

Well if you have pictures of your texture in brawl, then you really don't need to say that it is tested and working. Just using common sense.

I gonna disagreed with you, good sir. Some .PACs and .PCSs can be corrupted but still can be used if the error isn't triggered. Example: when i tested my Zeta Metroid Squirtle Revamp at the first time, he ALMOST worked perfectly in game, except by ONE thing, that every time Charizard was defeated, the game completly freezes (you know, after Charizard, follows Squirtle), even when was no problem with the Pokemon change, only when Charizard was killed, but at least i fixed it transfering the texture in a completly virgin .PCS, and now it works without any problem, hehe....

textures should not interfere with team color placements. Right now I'm missing a blue IC, there aren't any good blue ICs out there.


Not sure, but since the Blue team use Popo first than Nana, why don't move the Ice Mages in the Blue Team instead?? that's where i put them in my SD, and there's any problem with them when I play team battle with my friends. And for the empty space leave by the mages, you could put the IC texture that BP made time ago....

Ohh, and sorry, i think i could finish the new metroid gang in some more days because......ehh.........i have a mess with the fingers, ^^U (DAMN YOU SAKURAI!!!!!!)

I realised something.........why you guys are so impatient to get 6 alt costume for that cloud model??? there isn't any wrong to keep some ike textures in it, some really worth it, SPECIALLY my Squall texture, considering that he:

1. is a REAL MEN!!
2. He has the most worked alpha layered, beautiful Hair and.......
3. IT'S BROWN!!!!

And what are you doing with Cloud it's just changing his appearance to be more manly then have to go back to the shop because the costume didn't fit and then they refused to give him a refund so you wasted 40 million gil with two coupons from red less..................................... STUPID COSTUME!!!!

Lol sorry, I was kinda busy and i don't get time to upload it. I have the CSP and all, but with an "slight" problem...the texture use the pre-hexed snake without the ammo packs, and the CSPs shows him wearing the ammo packs. If that's a problem, i can make a new CSP of him, but it will being finished tomorow, but if you don't mind, i can upload it in this midnight, Tongue

And aren't you the guy who are doing the texture pack over here??? I don't know if i am asking too much, but can my new-revamped metroid gang can be in the pack as well once i finish with the trainer and with the FS???
