Just a question for all of the vertex mod patching/morphing experts. Static model parts (such as swords) on a character's model don't need to be patched, they just need to be exported onto the model IIRC
Anyway, when I try and export Mallow's pink tuft (vertex'd out of MK's shoulder pad) and his Froggie stick (MK's sword), both of which are static model parts, I get some problems. Instead of exporting themselves into their correct placements on MK's model, they just stay put behind him for some reason:
Compared to the original positions of the two static objects:
Does anybody know why this happens? If so, would it be possible to fix?
Hey everyone, cuckoos from Koo.pac here. Now, as it seems, Dantarion is continuing his work on the spectacular Clone Engine once again. After hearing the news, I had remembered something of great importance; My good friend Pik had showed me progress of a Professor Layton model the other day. So I thought that using this model, I could be the first in the brawl hacking community to create a perfectly balanced, perfectly reasonable, and basically, a brand new character in it's entirety
There isn't much progress as of yet (Pik only recently gave me the Layton model), but there will be soon if we get more people to pitch in.
I guess you could call this a Koo.pac project, except this one isn't as disappointing as SSE2
Here is the model, in all of it's glory:
Team: -Cuckoos [Animations, PSA work] -Pik [Providing the model]
What we have done: -Finished the Layton model
What we need to do: -Moveset -Animations -Porting it over Ike
WE NEED ANIMATORS I can't stress this enough! I cannot do all of the animation work by myself, and we can't even borrow animations from other characters due to Jeff's strange bone structure.
[I'll post more info tomorrow, so don't lock this thread seeing as I will have much more progress and proof to show.]
A collaborative work between me and Pik. Louie is a secondary protogonist in the hit game Pikmin 2, serving as Olimar's partner. He first appears in Pikmin 2. He is relatively new to the shipping business and has a ravenous appetite. He was raised by his grandmother, who made him play with bugs, as well as eat them, which he seems to partake in on the Pikmin Planet. So without further ado, I present to you, Louie!
Hey guys, Cuckoos here. So recently, if some of you haven't noticed, me, Pik from Stack Smash, and Sonic695 have created a new texture team. And it needs more attention, in my opinion. The team is called Koo.pac, and me and Pik are continuously updating with quality vertex hacks and highly-detailed texture hacks. Although it's only me and Pik updating at the moment, we have 4 new members that will start to update soon. The members we have so far are:
Who are Ridge Troopa and MXXai? They both come from The Spriter's Resource, and are both amazing spriters as well as graphic artists. Max is working on a special project, and we are still improving Ridge Troopa's skills so he can start updating on our team.
We are also accepting member applications. If you would like to join our team, PM me an example of a texture you have made, tell us what kind of hacks you can provide (i.e; vertex hacking, model swapping, texture hacking, stage making, etc.), and be sure to inform us if you are already part of another team already.
(Mods, the reason we made a new topic is because we found no "links thread" to post this in. If I am not supposed to post it here, please accept my apologies, and move this thread to wherever may be more appropriate.)
Hey guys! This thread is where I will post my custom CSPs. Note that I will only make CSP's for full character replacements. For example, I will make a CSP costume pack for Mewtwo, because he completely replaces Lucario. (By the way, I will be releasing a Mewtwo recolor pack for Brawl soon. :3)
I'm not doing single CSPs at the moment. If there is a problem with the CSPs, tell me, and I will fix it.
Hey guys! So I have been texture hacking for a long time, but always kept my textures hidden from the community, but I think I should show them to you guys, make some new ones, and get some feedback, so tell me what you think!
I will update when I can, and if you like my textures, give me positive feedback! Also, check out the texture team I am in, Chaos Control:http://chaoscontroll.xtreemhost.com/ to see more of mine and my team mates textures. So here they are, enjoy!
