Yeah, I have problems with everything Tongue

Yep, I moved RHandN over to index 65, and moved whatever was on 65 to where ever RHandN started at.

I did the whole TextureData[0] thing, and at first, Marth had that problem where he took textures from the stage or his enemies.



Then I noticed that the body texture only was CI8 and had a palette, so I reimported that as CMPR, RGB5A3, and RGB565, and all of them resulted in having a totally white body. The face still worked, though.



Her pinky is all stretched out and the sword glow is still attached to her feet.

Here's the file if it helps you help me... sorry for making you do so much work to help me...

I'll try doing the things in your post tomorrow...

Personally, I'm happy that I finally know where you went, but sad because you can't use the computer...

I've had computer access everyday, but I was totally slacking, so I'm a lot more at fault than you are.

That reminds me... I better start working again...

Rename it to sc_selcharacter.pac or import it into your common5.pac.

Common5.pac goes in pf/system, if you want to do that.

Mu_menumain.pac goes in pfmenu2, but sc_selcharacter goes in pf/menu2.

Uh... I started trying to do another port, this time ZSS over Marth. I exported the MDL0 from ZSS's costume, hex edited the model so that the right hand index matched that of Marth's sword (so the hitboxes and sword glows would be more accurate), and then edited the index of the bone that used to be in that spot to be the index of the right hand.

It didn't freeze in game or anything, but ZSS's body is totally white, but her head and hair have color. Also, the sword glow is in her hand, but the sword glow and the hitboxes are on her feet. Could this be related to a bone problem or anything like that?

I uploaded him to Brawl Vault, but he's pending, so you might have to wait a bit, or you could get him now, I really have no idea how this works.

I uploaded my very first Brawl Vault hack, so I don't know how the whole pending system works. I also uploaded my very first texture, so today is a pretty big day for me Smiley

Also, I'm waaaaaaay too used to vBrawl and I just got into B-... I don't really like B+, sorry.

Is it maybe because you changed the number of vertices while editing it? That's happened to me many, many times, so maybe it happened to you, too.

Maybe try right-clicking on both of them and going to Properties to check the number of vertices could show you what the problem is?

Oh... I don't usually do the frame 0 -> 1 and then 2 -> 1 thing because sometimes, it results in some weird stuff... but I do it if there's a huge change like Ike and Lucas or something.

I'm not too good at animating... I wouldn't really know who is easier to animate than who, but Ike is pretty hard because his cape has a ton of bones and his cape sometimes sticks through his body, but you can rotate his sword only because it usually has no keyframes, and because the player sees the sword movement first and foremost, you can just animate the sword and it'll look nice.

And your animations are super awesome, too... they're perfect! The whole breathing thing is amazing! Let's see if ethanrodgers223 likes them, too.

I don't know if this sounds like a good idea or not, but I think Fire could be like PK Fire, maybe? She throws a little spark, and when it comes into contact with an enemy, then the fire explodes. Of course, unlike PK Fire, it can be charged.

Should the aerial version of Fire be like Ness' PK Fire (fires at a downward angle)? Or should it push you back like Lucas'? Of course, it could be none of the above, too.
