I wanna do this little fella but dont know over who :/ and the model I have is boneless D:
=D Her MvC3 model, rite? Having her over Ivysaur with custom animations would indeed be nice, since it also allows for other wolf-like characters like others said. But I say we need to get somebody to make a complete moveset of her! That way, you can also give her her own boneset to go over any character, right? >=D And I'm actually kinda surprised that nobody went "inb4cal".
yh his automatic attack is slow as hell >.< (im at lvl 22...)
"Speed" in Xenoblade actually refers to how likely it is that characters dodge attacks. The standard attack is always at the same speed, regardless of levels.
I really need to get round to playing Xenoblade. I've had it for about a month or two and I haven't had time to even play it. Since it's a JRPG, it seems like one of those games you just need to dedicate a good 1-2 hour session on (kinda like how you have to with Monster Hunter Tri, you really can't play that game in short bursts like you can Smash Bros).
And of course, I love the whole idea of British dub. You Americans will have to deal with it when it comes round, considering when we get a game here, it 99.9% of the time has American dub so quit whining (anyone who is XD)
You actually don't really need to have sessions that long. I mean, sure, when there's some progress with the plot, then you will need some time, but other than that, less time works as well. Especially since you start at just the same place where you quit after saving.
yuup i think a bomb of love exploded for shulk in the thread.
i think he would be best over Ike cuz of that huge sword, he looks more of a powerhouse from that screen too. i wouldnt mind marth but if it was me, id go with Ike then later rig it to marth too
Indeed it has. Now the only question is whether it'll actually get him done sooner. . .
In Xenoblade, Shulk's actually more speed-based character, being able to dish out many attacks rather quickly. So, based on that alone, he'd probably fit better on Marth.
Yeah, and that's only its base form. Though, the actualy model for the lightsaber isn't really included =/
Whether he's gonna be over Marth or Ike is probably still unsure, since I left the choice to Beyond (y'know, since Shulk's what I requested in exchange for the Dunban models he askedfor).
yuuup i shoulda been more clear in alot of JRPGs the "default" sword would be a twig. symphonia 1 had 2 twigs for Lloyd. i was talkin about shulk's big red one like in most of his character art that i seen
how detailed is the model, is it a high-poly of him? in some games they use a flatter, less detailed model in-battle and then higher detailed ones in cutscenes. (i envy you Beyond, i searched everywhere for a model of it x__x at least i know its in gooood hands)
"monado : something something" is what i think the game was gonna be called a long time ago im guessing the sword is important u_O anyways i havent actually played the game but i really like his design. it comes this commin year to the US sooo.. im gonna give it some plays
Yeah, Shulk's main weapon throughout most of the game really is the Monado, the big red one. The one that's already about as big as a person, can become a laser blade when activated, which is about twice as big as the sword, and in turn gets even bigger for some attacks.
If I'm not mistaken, the model I gave Beyond is from the ending cutscene, so it should be in a rather good quality. Not that it really matter though, Xenoblade uses the same models for both cutscenes and gameplay most of the time.
And yes, Xenoblade was originally going to be called "Monado: The Beginning of the World".
Beyond, on a scale of 1 to 342545145, how much motivated are ya to rig Shulk without lookin at the poll? (do ya have his default sword too?)
If by "default sword", you mean the sword he used in the beginning of the game before receiving the Monado, then no, he doesn't have it. I only gave him the various forms of the Monado along with the file for Shulk.
