I have about 4 reported sfx that has no video to preview them, and trust me there are more. This is bad since I can't seem to find anyway to make any previews with my brothers Roxio capture card.
If the numbers starts to exceed higher to the point where It will have nearly reported all of my sfx, I'll have to remove some if not all sfx related hacks of mine on the vault, and lock them on my mediafire account till I can provide videos for them.
So, I'll still make sound effects, I just wont be uploading them though. Which is why I am asking for anyone to help me out in making videos for my soundeffects. Rina-chan/Peach and L'arc really don't need one since they both are in the same video, but everyone else will. Maybe not the Roy voice since Double D's actually better (he needs a voice preview too). Any help will be appreciated please?
It really didn't matter to me, I can take it off your hands if it seems to much for you, I can actually start doing some more sfx hacks now. But I kinda need help with making videos for my hacks. I can't get a good day from my brother to use his capture card program. I'll put this in the OP, hopefully someone can come to my aid. But besides videos, I can do the editing.
This is the code thats in the txt document, and when I removed that line of code, it stoped freezing and I was able to use the custom victory themes. But for some reason Zelda, Shiek and Ness freeze when ever used. Every other character seems to be still playable.
Thankyou for looking into my problem, but I'm still having the same problem where no one's custom victory theme is playing except for Link. Link somehow is playing Koopa's custom theme, Zelda/Shiek freezes and Everyone else still plays their original victory theme.
Edit: I got the code to work somewhat. Everyone plays the result screen music now. The Custom Sound Engine code froze my game before I could even get to the start menu so I can't use it. Now my problem is that none of my custom victory themes are reading or playing what so ever. Like I said, everyone has the result screen theme for some reason.
Welcome back. I however, really never left the forums even though I said that I was taking a break. I managed to keep up the grades, and I was able to get Knuckles and begun working on Tails for the MetaKnight hack. I was still doing hacks behind the scenes, but Ike-Roy progress is practically gone now.
I accidentally went over the edited fitIke.pac with a normal one (should have made a double and renamed it.) and lost everything I did. So I'll need to start over. The edited sound file should still have the edited sounds I added. But Roy comes with too much pressure so I'll put that on the back burner for now. Because I really don't want to go back and re ID those sfx.
I'm happy to take on the Zero/Link sfx . I also need to ask DARKSHADEDX if I could get those same Silver sound effects he gave to KingJigglypuff. The Lloyd's got volume problems so I'll get to those sometime in the afternoon.
Edit: Knuckles seems to have an error when I place the sfx in, it removes several other voice banks. So I'll go back to fix that after my finals next week. Around that week I'll also ask my brother if I can use his capture card to record appropriate previews for all of my sound hacks, but since at this time we're both in school and are to busy with are own problems at the moment.
Okay, I'm having some trouble on changing the character names and Stage icons, stage names and icons and Also with the new custom sound engine code. I removed the names on the code yet it doesn't work for me. For some reason, Link's music only plays the result screen where as everyone else has their original victory theme unaffected by the codes. I was thinking it had something to do with my XML file. So I was going to post it up if anyone could figure out what I'm doing wrong for the CSS names and SSS freezing and the CSE not working:
As for characters, try to not go over ~D0000 Data2Length. Ganon has D2E20.
So as long its not like E0000 or higher, then you should be fine. But if it is, then you'll need to trim and lower the frequency of some sounds. I had the same problem with Baby Mario, some sounds needed some trimming and their frequencies lowered for it to work in game.
Yep, I've sent KJP over 300 Silver sound files, and he's working on making the pack whilst making the PSA.
Cool, I'm actually quite happy to have a replacement for Falco. It's a little embarrassing, but I had Silver sfx from Free Riders to go with the PSA if no one was doing it. But now that you told me....
@"Double D." - Awesome job on the Roy sfx for Marth . I can say that they sound alot better than mine. I can relax a little bit more now that another Roy is up there.
@"Infernape99" - well I'm still figuring out how to assign some of the new sound effects I made for Ike. But I'm still trying to keep focused on school, I went and said I was going to fix my grades, then I overslept. Now its worse, now standing on a high "B". I probably wont be doing much until the end of Summer quarter.
There are several non-sfx related stuff I want to upload to the vault as well:
My Raijinmaru texture has changed to have textures from Arc Rise Fantasia
L'Arc's texture has been touched up
Breath of Fire III: adult Rei texture I have been saving
And some other stuff I'll get to when my 3D model class approaches it.
Important Edit: I wasn't paying attention to what I was replacing and ended up replacing the Ike.pac file that had all the progress for the Ike-Roy stuff. The voices are fine, but this will really set me back for this sound hack. I wish I had backed up the file or something but I wasn't thinking of that at the time. I'll need to do this some other time though since I started on Lloyd and Knuckles and a Megaman powered up sfx hack for the Ness hack and his misc sfx.
