I'll try and use a webcam, I tried it out but some of the sound clips volume is to low. I can edit them to make them louder. I should have notice this in the beginning process, but it was my fault for being fueled by caffeine with no sleep.
My older brother just bought himself a caapture card thing, but the problem is that the program was to much to be installed on his laptop, so we had to use my new desktop computer which is all upstairs, and the cord could barely stretch over to it. The Wii is located in the Dinning Room next to my fathers PC that don't want anyone to touch yet it still moves super slow.
So I'll need to unhook the Wii in the Dinning room and bring it up stairs to our room if I need to record some Brawl stuff. But he's playing Red Dead Redemption right now with DLC on the PSN store so I'll have to wait.
Whoa, that was really quick. I wasn't expecting that, but Thanks for the announcer calls. I also finished inserting the voices in and made a hex packet, its all ready to be uploaded. I know people are going to love just this.
I'm positive that if you did it, people will download it. You have already known by now that the people here love your voice, so voicing a character you voiced for Brawl Taunts will gain alot of popularity quicker than anything.
I didn't think that far ahead yet, It was more like, "way past cool idea, a ssbb peach re-dub!" kind of thing. I'll have to check which would be a good fit for taunts/winquotes if you used quotes from Brawl taunts. I myself would want a normal re-dubbing of Peach, quotes from Brawl taunts and or Customs would be optional.
I prefer not to have just one voice hack of a character on the vault, with the exception of voice hacks for different regions. If you upload one hack, somebody will upload theirs and says that its better than the other one. Another will do the exact same thing, and so began the age of the Shadows. THAT'S NOT FREAKING FUNNY!
But seriously, I'm pretty much committed to helping Thany with her Roy moveset and the PM I got from her is going to take alot of time. So I'm glad that ssbbtailsfan took over and went with it. Speaking of which, ssbbtailsfan, will be to much if I asked if you could help with ID-ing Ganons SFX since it's difficult as it is replacing characters who does nothing grunts and battle cries all the time please?
Now on to the next matter, Rina-chan I love the work you put into the new voice for the Smash Bros. Brawl announcer. I wouldn't want to add more to the things your doing with the whole announcer thing. I'll actually wait till your done before adding more on your plate. But if it's a female voice you be wanting to voice, then Peach is the lass. Yaaaaarrrrgh! But this is alot of work so tackle this when ever you want, its your voice. In case your wondering what exactly was my requests were, they were:
L'arc announcer call for Ike Vollnut announcer call for R.O.B Roll announcer call for ToonLink
Well I know I'll probably have no time to get to this as fast as some people may want. My final school project is coming up, so I'll probably upload the .wav files of Kidd Buu on my Media Fire. But this is just if the team project wishes it so. But I'd be happy to assist on the Kidd Buu project.
On other news, my older brother played Red Dead Redemption one day and something hilarious happened. It was on the part of the game where a man uses some glider off a cliff and dies. Putting the invincible code on, my brother leaps off the cliff and falls flat on the ground. Just then, out of no where, a wolf comes and bites his butt while he's still on the ground.
In short, this fueled him to buy a video capture card to record things like that, and he gave me permission to use it for Brawl hacks and stuff. So I might have videos showing of Sound effects and stuff.
@TheHatMan: Yes, all name files are in PNG format and the new CSS name is about 501 bytes. I'm not sure about the CSS icon name though, I don't know how to make those...
@zigheart: I been using Riivolution alot to test out sound hacks so I haven't went back to using Gecko.
Edit: This is the new file that still wont work.
I can't wrap my head around it as to why it won't work, its compressed small enough to work.
Yeah your right, my bad. How could I let that slip. I'll change it and continue making the Sonic Jaleel White wave files. In a matter of speaking, quickly do this then I gotta juice and cut it loose.
Edit: Oh no wait, I don't need to do that. I thought it was on the OP, but just my last post. Yeah, R.O.B will be a task to defeat. I'll probably see people giving him other characters voices through code and not using his original voice sooooooooooo.......
This is late but thanks for clarifying it better Jaklub. With the new SFX ID's of Lucario and R.O.B out, I might be able to whip up a sound hack for Maijin Buu and maybe find some way to give MegaMan Vollnut a voice too. And this is not important to some but:
This lists the English VAs of Arc Rise Fantasia. So instead of having L'Arc as unknown, he can be fully credited even though this is still illegal using their voice without permission. But anyway, thankyou Brett Coleman for your VA work on IMO an enjoyable JRPG.
Someone here (I forget who) is using these types of emoicons. I remember these from several forums (HongFire) and I made sure to copy them for my post. They're really funny and I will abused them any chance I get!
That's what I was doing for the longest now. But The file becomes to big, and when I compress it, still freezes. Is there a special trick in making them using GIMP, since that's the program I'm using. Nothing seems to be working, not even name icons either.
Edit: I just downloaded the Rockman Dash pack, and I can't use even those names for R.O.B. I'm getting the feeling that I can't use any custom names on my game.
I am trying my hand in making a CSS name for L'Arc, but it continues to freeze on me before I can get to the character select screen. I'm trying to replace Ike's name on the select screen. Can anyone help please?
