For the record, I can't vertex hack. So don't tell me to do that instead. When I download 3DS Max, it never opens. I've re-downloaded it, from the site it's from, and still nothing. So yeah, this will have to do.

Before making textures, I would make Partial Size Modifications, which are codes that alter the size of a certain part of a character. Just recently I found out how to do that, but more efficiently in BrawlBox. I made 5 different files, but when I try to use them in Brawl the game freezes. What is wrong with them?

Here's a download link so you can try it out for yourself:
Giant Captain Falcon: http://www.mediafire.com/?fwou2axmzdm
Buff Fox: http://www.mediafire.com/?tjoeiwyimmy
Buff Sonic: http://www.mediafire.com/?gjzydoiwijn
WEREHOG Sonic (with texture by GaarAlizée): http://www.mediafire.com/?yinmznytzy2
Giant Wolf: http://www.mediafire.com/?iyw5rcg3zmz

To see how these were done, open a file in BrawlBox, under the character model file which can be viewed, there are files with many numbers and such, similar to what you would see for vertex hacking. Usually in the line "Scale" the scale is (1,1,1).  The first number represents the X value (left-right) value for the chosen body part. The second number represents the Y value (up-down), and the third represents the Z value (far-near). Changing these numbers will change the size, while chaning the numbers in "Translation (numbers have same X/Y/Z value) will slide a body part in a given direction based on the value.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
4  Help & Tutorials / Help / Sonic Partial Size Modifiers on: November 11, 2009, 06:23:16 PM
I've tried making Partial Size Modifications on Sonic the Hedgehog many times, but very few of his ID's, when enlarged/reduced, actually do something. These values that do work are:
Whole
Chest
Belly
Groin

I've tried making Whole larger and then reducing the things I don't want bigger, but that doesn't work either. Is there an updated list of Sonic's ID's or something? Or is Sonic just nearly impossible to PSM?
5  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Item hacks on: November 08, 2009, 04:37:54 PM
I need some item hacks:

-Ray Gun (has infinite ammo) shoots Smoke balls which release smoke on contact. I'd like to just spam Smoke Balls, without having to drop the Ray Gun, pick up the Smoke Balls, and throw them. Item modifier didn't work the way I wanted it to.

-Gooey Bomb's explosion is as powerful as a Blast Box's explosion.

-Ganondorf pulls out a trophy stand instead of a sword (Would it work in battle if it's never thrown?)

- Kirby has a hat applied to him before starting the game (hat determined by character ID value) Different codes for all 4 players to have 4 different-hatted Kirbies in one fight.

-Ganon's sword is half its regular size.

I know that not everything is possible, but it's be nice to have these work. If you do find a code, or make one, you can just post it here.
