1: Nay. 2: Ha, yeah right. Those are dummy files, taking them out won't do anything. 3: He probably forgot to clean them off. 4: I have some crazy belief that Melee was ported, and everything was changed from there.
Considerring brawl was originally just going to be melee with online, that last one isn't too unlikely
Theory i have. The Forbidden 7 are but empty files. However, after i opened them in hex editor neo, i noticed that they are all exactly the same (minus where it says thier names, however). This, to me, means one of three things: 1. They were meant to be dlc 2. They are needed for the game to run 3. Saukrai loves to screw with us 4. Nothing
For 1: They all contain the same thing. My guess is that they are just "activators" so that the rest of the files could be dlc (these files themselves would have to be changed, though). Because of how the css is made and the way the forbidden 7's files are, I think this is the case. Also, I highly doubt Pra_Mai is any nintendo character, and was meant to be 3rd party but had its named changed for legality. For 2: Completely possible. If, however, someone removed the files, burnt the iso, and tested it, that would disprove this entirely For 3: We already know it's true, so he could just be screwing with us again. For 4: It could mean nothing. Perhaps they were just left on the disk because of forgetfullnes. I doubt it, but its possible. Mewtwo having an empty sound effect while no other forbidden 7 does seems like a screw up to me, so maybe it is.
I have an idea for a very useful program. Seeing as brawl has no official measumerment thing for psa, here's what the program would do, an example:
Graphic ID: 30 Size: 1 X offset: 5 Y offset: 3 X rotation: 0 Y rotation: 0 Generate Hitbox: Yes
The program would than proceed to make an accurate matching hitbox for the graphic. Graphics and hitboxes are hard to match up, so this would be a very useful program. It would take a bit of research and someone with a fair amount of programming knowledge to do it, but it sure would be useful.
how do you change the orange lighting that covers the valley? i changed the sky lighting but i already went through all the files and cant seems to find the one that changes the orange ligthing of the valley.
Tis needs hex editting my friend. Moosehunter would no more than I, though.
Sigh. Phail. If you want the textures, open the iso with dolphin, dump the textures with that. ....okay i have no clue what im talking about, but from wat i hear dolphin can dump textures, so just do that and figure out how to hex 'em back into the pac.
I looked through some of the characters todai. Zelda and Shiek: Down B has nothing undiscovered, in the "routines" department. In the specials area, they're really similar. Than, of course, Samus has like nothing. It's useful to note during the second animation of transformation zelda loads Shiek.
Ever wondered how Mewto`s Up B was made? Or Sheik`s Up B? Easy. Mainly, Character Momentum, Visibilty, and sometimes even...LFs. I`ve been fooling around with PSA to learn that it can be used in Variety of Ways. As in...
DBZ Teleporting Movement Teleporting Basic Teleporting
These are some types I named that have a different style. For Example, Kyzon`s Side B is Movement.
You see if you can Spam Teleporting in Any FREE DIRECTION (UP,DOWN,RIGHT,LEFT) With Offensive Collisions is DBZ Teleporting. And Basic would resemble my FireSword Mario`s Nb.
This is easy wants you get the hang of It. Hopefully, I cleared out some Confusion. =3
VERY BETA raiden in action (skip to 1:45 if you don't wanna see beta doc). Done So Far: UP B: Aerial Back Flip. Side B: A jab that does little damage, but much knockback. Works best with: Down B: A downwards slice that does much damage, but little knockback. Follow it up with Side B. A-A: Two sword slices. Up Smash and Up Tilt are switched. Faster Higher Jumps Fast-fall made as fast as Link's. For 1/4th of the animations/moves, 3/4th lag, but 3/4th damage as well.
To Do: Give custom B that will allow raiden to go "super raiden"-all moves are faster and stronger, but have a pichu-like effect (give 2-3 damage to the user). Fix some glitches (Up B can be used forever if timed right, Side B and Down B move the user forward and than back when used in air, A-A is glitchy). Do the stat changes for the other 3/4ths of the moves.
Without reading more than the first post I can tell you that your disc drive just died. Nothing to do with hacks, the wii's disc drive just sucks major balls and playing brawl too much will eventually kill it. Happend to me twice so I decided to not send it in again and just use USB Loader.
And let me repeat that hacks cannot damage your hardware, this is probably not true for homebrew but simple codes cannot break your wii.
as long as you dont reeeeaallly screw around w/ homebrew, no explosions will take place.
...and what will be the fate of mah wii if the only thing i played for the past... lets say year... was brawl?
Someone please make a homebrew app that makes your wii explode. That would be awesome in so many ways.
That would be awesome. Bannerbomb that app and go into a person you hate's house.
