Ok well again I was thinking that room in the Spirit temple with the big statue, whose face you have to blow off in order to get to the boss room. This room:



We could do so much with this room. We could either hae the players fight across her head, shoulders, and the two platforms on the sides, or we could have them fight on her hands, arms, and platforms on the sides, or a combination of the two (this would require the pose for the statue to be altered a little, but it would make the stage more enjoyable).

Zoras domain would be fun indeed. But I agree, complex. I personally think Ambi's Palace would be fun, because since it was just in a 2D game, it would give us a lot of artistic liscence, and we could put in floating platforms or whatever we need.

Hey IS, if you have an MSN or AIM, could you add me so we could talk easier?

Too open, too plain, and there's actually a lot of crap there that would make it moderately difficult to recreate.

IS, let's go for the Spirit temple I ssay. Perhaps we ought to make a poll.

Let's do a collab on a Zelda stage then. You can vertex, that's something I never learned. Spirit Temple?

Hmm...what section are we looking at? Perhaps the section with the statue of the giant snake-woman? I may be able to vertex Zelda into something for that purpose. What about...hmm...Zora's Domain? Or is that too complex?

I personally think the best option would be to make a stage in collaboration with someone that has an MSN or AIM account that they use frequently. That way it would be more like a hands on tutorial/Walkthrough. That's the best learning experience in my opinion.

now im in the mood to make Kokori Forest from scratch instead of waiting for that .DAE to MDL0 converter... since i already have all the texture files for Kokori Forest.

However I have ADD so I really don't have the patience to work with that. I really sould try to start with a simple stage really.

Ehhhhhhh I'm still not feeling the water. I see that it moves and such, but now it just looks like clouds floating by their feet. I swear I remember the room having a much more purple fog rather than that green. But I haven't played that for some time and my memory isn't the best.

I think part of the water issue may be that the darks of the texture are too dark. If you lighten those, maybe it will be different.

Also about Dark Link's music, it's the standard mini boss music from OoT.

Ok uhhhm I have a few crits. first, the water texture makes me go ew. I don't really care if that's the OoT texture, it's still making me go ew for some reason. Maybe it's the fact that it's so obviously tiled. Everything else looks like it's in order, personally I think the fog should have a little less of a green tone to it. The battle should also take place right in front of the tree, if not a little closer to it, and have Dark Link standing beneath said tree watching the fight. i just personally think he would be a nice touch.

No offense but Girahim is still way too obviously Sheik. Body needs to be thinner all over, the head wrappings could afford to be moved so it looks like a real hairline, etc.

Don't worry pride most of them are probably trolls.

Anyway my internet is kind of on "lockdown" since we're pretty close to our usage limit that our provider has us under. It sucks I know, but we need to let it cool down for a few days. So you won't be hearing much from me for a little while.

This should be fun. You might be able to recycle the Fountain of Dreams water for that actually.
