Big Shaker from Sonic the Hedgehog 3
7588 polygons
One of the main reasons it has so many polygons is because the crossing bands of gold had to match up, which required specific multiples of polygons. This in turn directed the level of detail for the rest of the model. The mesh is structured in such a way that it would be easy to carve out a [censored]pit and turn it into Sonic Mania's Laundro Mobile boss.

And now, a Sonic model:

Pinwheel from Super Mario RPG
3120 polygons (812 base + 1092 normal + 1216 angry)
Studied Thwomps and related enemies to get a feel for how to create the face.

Another Super Mario RPG enemy! Maybe someone can turn this one into a background decoration or something.

Vibe Scepter from Super Princess Peach
1056 polygons (2208 including extra glass orb polygons)
The object is physically impossible, so I designed the model to use UV animation for swapping out the faces. I made extra polygons for the orb in case anyone wanted to try doing fancier renders with it.

To be fair, I did post that trailer a few days before I uploaded the model.

Anyway, I made a new thing:

Flying Palace from Pokemon the Movie 2000: The Power of One
Body: 300104 polygons (Mid: 144328, Low: 49752)
Propeller 1: 904 polygons (Low: 246)
Propeller 2: 560 polygons (Low: 174)

Total: 356924 polygons (Min: 65736)

Made slowly over the course of seven months. Used official concept art to ensure the design was as accurate as possible.

I guess now would be a good time to point out that my models aren't only for Brawl, even if they use Brawl's art style and aren't super high-poly. Someone could port these to Smash 4 if they wanted to, but Brawl will continue to me by quality target.

^ Really dig this piece. What did you change for the lowpoly version?
Glad you like it! The low-poly version is based on what the model looked like before I beveled all of the edges and added carved details. I also used a render of the high-poly version to create the low-poly version's texture.

Time Gear from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
1656 polygons for gear, 72 polygons for markings
low poly version (not shown) is 168 polygons
Made in a full day

I'm making a new post for this rather than editing my previous one because I feel this is actually something that someone may find useful:

It's a Time Gear from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2!
Download it here

I figure it could be used as a replacement for the Timer item. If not, it could make a neat background prop for Spear Pillar or something.

Edit: Model ahoy!

Keyzer from Wario Land 4
1010 polygons (1370 if you include duplicate eye meshes)

Oh hey I made another obscure Kirby thing.

Transformer from Kirby's Dream Course
Despite the smoothness, it still doesn't have very many polygons.
1698 polygons
