where can I get 3dsmax and what is 3dsmax

I was told that it's important for brawl stuff, thought that I had everything essential but guess not, anyways
For my brawl hacking all that I have used is
PSA , BrawlBox and Gimp anything else that I maybe missing or should add to my list like 3dsmax

So ive been using PSA to make basic character hacks and now i am looking to get a little more advanced

My question is how can i, or rather is it possible to grab a pic from the internet of a character and use that image as a model for a replacement.

Say for example grab a picture of jigglypuff, can i simply
Put that picture over kirby?

My goal is to make one character look like a completely different character  as Noobly as possible

A tutorial or basic instructions would be nice

Well you see i am following along the advanced csp tutorial by Red93( Tutorial can be found in the /help /help & tutorials/texture and tutorials directory) so that i can make custom character poses, the tutorial says that i can download the original character poses here but the link goes somewhere that does not contain the files, he later explains in the tutorial that the characters original poses are named in this format [(name)R1.Brres] what i want to know is where to find these files

Hate to be the bringer of bad news but... the download link that is in the vault has been reported the site that the file was uploaded to(megaupload) was apparently shutdown. looked it up for you but couldn't find a working one in the vault or anywhere else on the web srry

where can i get the .brres files or all the characters

idk know if this will help but if you open gecko go to the options and under one of the settings most likely video you should be able to force ntsc/pal so try editing the audio/video and other settings to fit your wii console im sure you should quickly see results

Anywho, i would like if someone could tell me where to get original pac/pcs files for the characters so that i can use them with project smash attack the link to the original ssbb files in the resources section is somewhat unreliable. ( MAYBE NOT TO ALL PEOPLE THOUGH ONLY FOR ME BCAUSE THE LINK SAYS TOO MUCH TRAFFIC)


Oh and a guide on how to use Psa( project smash attack) would be nice to, any help would be appreciated
