I use 3ds Max I can learn Blender and PM you an explanation with pics.

I started a thread for vertices of Shadow and a Fixed Tails and Knuckles. He requested the Hyper Sonic there though. I know you don't want someone messing with your creation so I didn't request a Hyper be made.

To answer all you questions at once. Almost anything can be done in brawl. XD

But to answer just those questions.

1) Models are made up of several polygon. Each polygon follows a series of points called vertices. It's essentially a 3D version of connect the dots. Using the programs 3DS Max and Anim8or those points can be moved to alter a polygon, thus altering the way a character looks. Some of the well known ones are Cloud Strife over Ike and Spongebob over Metaknight. Being that altering these points applies to a single texture, it's possible to have every texture slot be replaced by a completely different looking model. The moveset stays the same though.

2) Certain Wii games use the same model format that Brawl does. Using Wiiscrubber, BrawlBox, Hex Editor, various extractors and some auto-hex programs, 3D models from other games can be imported into Brawl. Imported characters need custom animations so there are no completed projects yet. However areas in other games can be imported and turned into stages.

3) There has been a lot in this past year.

He's asking if you can make one. So people can have a Hyper Sonic without having to use the PSA or MotionEtc.pac you made. To have a Hyper Sonic to use for their own creations without editing yours.

Yeah that's what CoN Naruto uses. I have the fixed clones. So no sword glow with any clones. Don't know if I send it to ds22. May have but don't remember. Anyway his coding for the clones will be useful.

There may be a way to give him a proper rasengan. If you look at CoN Naruto he has Lucas' PSI Magnet. It replaces Ike's eruption so it works for the rasengan but flames appear. They're hard coded in his graphics. (Which is why he just has wind for his rasengan)

I'm gonna attempt to hex his external graphics away and get rid of the lightning. I'll PM you it to test it.

Down-B suggestion.
Exploding Tag - Drops a 'sticker" that explodes on contact or after a set period of time.
