Jiggz with Hats

Capless Mario Bros.
These are truly capless unlike everything else that seems to be out there. Mario even pulls out his hat for his taunt and hides if afterward. The brim shadow on their foreheads has been removed.

Pokemon Tamer Shadow

Shadow the Hedgehog joins brawl. But this isn't like all the other shadows out there. This is one of his clones that can only fight from the sidelines.....with pokemon.

His arms are a little awkward and after he runs across the stage he'll float upwards after standing there for a while. He returns to ground level sooner or later.

Only takes up one texture slot.

Pokemon Tamer Knuckles
Same as Shadow. Same glitch but this time the texture changes with the stage. I can't think of how to fix that.

Neko Maid Zelda

Not very detailed but I just had to make this before anyone else.  Tongue

Credit to LenSho for the glasses hack and LookItsLink for the Enhanced Zelda with cat ears and for providing the pics.

Noobish texture (being my first one) but I do plan on re-vamping it sometime.

BrawlBox doesn't let me edit collision data.....

.62 can't do it and .63 won't let me select the actual collisions and when I merge two pieces both selected ones are deleted....even after downloading a new brawlbox 0.63d. And when I save, the collision data changes completely...

Any ideas on this?

Hello all. A few of the hackers here were wondering about how to be featured on the KC:MM Blog. I'm here to help answer those questions.

The original feature threads can be found HERE, HERE and HERE but with the lack of reception it has ever gotten I'm going to try to bring this back for the people who don't always get the reception they deserve.

How to be Featured!!!
If you have something you feel is amazing and deserves a feature the method of being noticed is quite simple. Anything posted should include the hacks name, at least 3 pictures, description and a brawl vault link. Different types of hacks should be posted with different formats to really show it off.

*Note: All pictures must be in thumbnail format*

Neko Maid Zelda

My first texture. I do plan on revamping it.

After giving into her furry ways, Zelda moved out of the castle to find a place with others like her. There she became a maid to earn her stay =3

Credit to LookItsLink for the enhanced, cat-eared Zelda and for taking the pics. Credit to LenSho for the glasses vertex hack.

While this is in the proper format, the texture pretty bad and is very bland (self insult)

The difference in quality is pretty obvious. One of the things that earned Female Pit a feature is that it was unique.

A unique and fresh idea, if done well could easily earn a spot on the blog. Not everything is about vertex hacks. Vertex hacks can't always amount to a lot without a texture fitting of it. An outstanding texture can shut down a good vertex hack with a good texture any day.

The same applies to any stage or PSA. A unique idea earns a lot of points towards a spot on the blog.

As for who is chosen, they will get a PM from Jack that their hack will be featured. This won't be an everyday occurrence. There may be a week or more with no features but that shouldn't discourage anyone. That just means you have more time to possibly make a more amazing hacks for a feature. This will give you a better chance at earning one as well.

*The purpose of this thread is not to spam with who you think should be featured or thoughts on peoples hacks. Please DO NOT comment on what you see here. Personal opinions of what should be featured do not reflect that of the team members here, so opinions will not get a hack a feature. They only count as spam so they don't belong here. If you wish to post your hacks then you are free to do so. If you don't understand a rule you may ask it but please remove your comment after you have your answer.*

Not to take any attention away from RandomTBush since imports are a lot cooler. But why not try putting brawl hats on Jiggs? Specifically Kirby's. Since I was messing with the Hat model anyway, as a joke I replaced Jigglypuff's sleeping cap. Although I thought it was going to be an epic fail, the results weren't as bad as I thought. A lot of thanks to LookItsLink for testing if was even possible.

As you can see it floats above her and the visor is in the middle of the stage. I have no idea why and no file with Jiggs to look into this. So instead I'll be providing 2 downloads.

Even though it obviously works in-game, there are a lot of problems.

-Freezes game on Final Destination.
-Freezes game on Battlefield.
-Freezes at result screen

-Works fine on Hanenbow (win?)
-Works on custom Brawl+ stage (in pics)
-Can replace Blue Team texture (others untest)
-Does not freeze during Final Smash

If it can be made to work, then it's possible to put all of Kirby's hats on Jiggs.

^This is the one tested for the pics above.

^This one is a little altered but untested.

Otherwise this can never happen.

If you don't want you're Wii freezing then don't download it. Anyone willing to deal with crashes is free to post what you did to make it crash. If you think you can help fix this then PM me about it. It'll be awesome to be able to put Kirby hat's on Jiggs. If the Kirby hats can work, next will be the Kirby trophies.

This is an animation question so this seems more fitting then on the PSA boards.

Why is it that when making a kicking animation they're legs won't go above they're knees. I had this problem with my last animation project when swapping animations and my new Pit PSA has the same problem.

He kicks high for the animation in BrawlBox but in game he kicks at shin level. The animation was made from scratch. Why is this? Is there anyway to fix this? Did I waste my time making the animation?

My WiiScrubber opens every iso I have except brawl. All that happens is it says "I/O Read" and that box doesn't go away. I have to open my task manager just to close WiiScrubber. Not the first brawl iso with this problem. Every Brawl iso does the same.

Kailmanning started a Weavile but with the lack of people to attempt anything for for him and him being swapped on an alloy made this seem a little pointless.

Now on the other he used fortwaffles bone adder to give him enough bones to replace an Ice Climber making this 2 Weaviles fighting together at the same time.

This is a simple alpha version. Pretty much no animations are done and there is a problem with polygons bugging out.

It froze from using B twice but he seems to move fine aside from T-stancing all the time

Any and all help bringing this to fruition would be greatly appreciated.
I'm going to start the animations beginning with the movements and will post the moveset.
Kailmanning made several textures for Weavile as well. The PSA won't be started until we get the ball rolling on his animations. He will be made to work with Nana's untouchable PSA coding.

-Someone to fix polygon stretching

For Taunt the left one will be replaced.
For Win I'll make a version for everyone to replace whichever one you guys want.

Every standard character will be made to dance. If anybody wants this for imported characters I can do that too.
