16  Welcome / Rules / Feedback / Brawl Vault / Re: Awards - Names, Descriptions, Complaints on: March 17, 2014, 12:01:37 AM
I'd like to, but then again, I'm not exactly comfortable with having awards that aren't defined with very clear borders. I know exactly if someone did or didn't win a contest, write a tutorial or reach 10.000 DLs. But I don't exactly know if someone's discovery qualifies as "something amazing."
There's already the Contructive award which has such blurry borders, and it's seeing very erratic use. So I'm not sure if I'd like to have another one like that.

Not that I don't want to reward great discoveries, but using awards for that seems way too impractical.
Because, as mentionned in the post you quoted, the "Little King" award wasn't exactly doing the job that was intended for it. Like, in three years or so, it was given to only 2 more hacks, IIRC.

Sorry about your award for Marth, but we really had to take it behind the shed and use a few shotgun shells for this one.

*************

Also, I've slightly edited the OP and added a line to the Cookie Clicker description. Just a word to the wise, nothing big... Tongue

It was ZSS I haven't had it for marth in forever, anyways as I see it little king served a purpose even if it didn't turn out to be the purpose you intended it to serve, and now their is no award for most downloaded mod for each character

Popping in for more new stuff. It just keeps on going, doesn't it?

***

Diamond in the Rough is now automatized. So I'll be sure to roll it out every time I pass by the page where all the usual Awards scripts are.

***

More importantly, the Little King award has been re-purposed. Since Top Downloads for each character wasn't exactly as dynamic as I expected for this award, we're doing things differently.

Say Hi to King for a Day
Each day at midnight MST, this award will be given to all owners of the most downloaded entry for the day in the following categories:
  • Character - PSAs
  • Character - Kirby Hats
  • Character - Non-PSA/Hat
  • Stage - 2D
  • Stage - Non-2D
  • Audio
  • Item
  • SFX
  • Misc
  • Pack

The next day, whoever had the award will lose it, and a new batch of users will receive it. First roll is tonight.

Why could't king for a day be added without replacing little king? now their is no award for having the most downloaded texture for a character

If you have 2 mods with one slot size mods for the same character is there an easy way to rectify the 2 FitMotionEtc.pac's

So the resized bone is only renamed in the FitMotionEtc.pac and the FitCharacter0X.pac that has the mod?
21  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: What determines what slot a 1 slot size mod is for? on: August 17, 2012, 09:44:13 AM
I'm confused about how the FitMotionEtc.pac specifies what slot the size mod is for

like something in it that specifies the size mod is to only affect FitCharacter02.pac for example
22  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: What determines what slot a 1 slot size mod is for? on: August 17, 2012, 08:09:30 AM
So then the FitMotionEtc.pac doesn't actually contain the size mod?
23  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: What determines what slot a 1 slot size mod is for? on: August 17, 2012, 06:14:09 AM
uh so it's magic or?? I'm asking if the FitMotionEtc.pac has something in in that determines what slot the size mod is for
24  Help & Tutorials / Help / What determines what slot a 1 slot size mod is for? on: August 17, 2012, 12:22:13 AM
If it's a 1 slot size mod it has to specify what slot it's for right? None of the mods that use them ever say what slot it's for

What determines what slot they're for

Give me your codeset and I'll figure out what the problem is, it's definitely one of your code that is conflicting with it because my code doesn't alter the camera in any way

You need the nunchuk code if you intend to hold down Z on the nunchuk instead of L on the GCC otherwise you need the code at the beginning of the first post, you never should have both of them
