I was not sure where to post this, but I have been away from brawl for about a year, and was wondering what has changed? Any new tools I should know about, or updates to old ones (brawl box, PSA, music editing etc). Anything new found out that we can mod?

Well I finally got around to starting one of theses. Most of my stuff will be 2D stages. I'm a member of Galakia
Darkness (I swear by the end of this weekend I'll finally have an update sorry guys). Anyways my stuff will be posted there keep an eye on it for my stuff and other great hacks. (Likns will be provifded at the bottom of the page).

ALL STAGES UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED GO OVER FINAL DESTINATION

So here we go:

Techno Yoshi:



This was one of my first textures. It's pretty basic and it's an emerald texture so final smashes do not work!

Deadmau5 Arena:


what can I say I like techno.

Starman Arena


The background is a bit glitichy, but I'm going to keep it like that, because it's kind of like an Earthbound background

My first 3D strage not great, but kind of cool

Well I've been trying to come up with a good idea for a PSA my last one was a Lucario who hurt himself and that froze no matter how hard I tried so I gave up on that for now and well this is my next idea, but I need some ideas. I do not want to have to do any swaping animations between chracters (maybe a little with Jiggs but no one else) I personally dont' like doing all that stuff.

I'm planning on making him either allways holding a star rod or swaping the hammer with the star rod and making him hold the hammer

A- Same

AA- Same

AAA- Use Kirby's A attck with the star rod

Over A- Use his forward throw animation and make a star appear in front of kirby

Up and A- Use the assist trophy animation and make a star above him

Down and A- Use his heavy throw down and Spawn a star in front and back of him

A in the air- Use the screw attack animation and make stars around him

Over and A in the air- Use his air hammer animation with the star rod

Back and A in the air- Keep the same but have a star at the end of his kick add a sweat spot (like Zelda's kick)

Down and A in the air- Keep same but with stars spinning like a drill around his feat and extending a little downwards

B ground- May stay the same or Use his smash attack with the star rod animation I'm thinking he shoots a star from the star rod or maybe a few

Down and B ground- He does the end part of his up and b and shoots  a star which glides accross the ground for a time

Up and B Ground- Uses his up throw animation and makes an explotion of stars

Over and B Ground- Does the over and B air only it produces a reflective shield of stars around kirby refelcts projectiles

B Air- Same or does a spin and shoots a few stars
Over and B air- Same as Ground

Up and B air- Summon a warp star will proablly add some kind of stun after you hit the ground to make it fair

Down and B Air- Uses the up and Air animations (I may swap this one and his up and B air) it will create a wall of stars which deal dammage to anyone hit by them, will be extreemly hard to get through

Final Smash- Star Storm- Kirby will raise the star rod and the screne will zoom in on it the star rod will glow and the screne will zoom out. A star will come from the star on the star rod and grow large this has a hitbox somewhat like Jigg's FS then the star will spin and go into the star. Then kirby will become invinsiable and stars will start to rain from the sky for a time not as powerful as PK starstorm however Kirby can attack and is invinsiable. Maybe about as long as Sonic's final smash

Most of the FS will prablly change as I realize it's over ambitions

Also i'm open to suggestionns, I want it to be fair, but not exactly balanced, i'm thinking something around what Kari is she is beatable, but still pretty good

I make some 2D stages and i've noticed that when I open up one in Brawl wall and then save it, it looses the .pac extention, so I rename it into a .pac extentencion, but when I load it up in brawl the background goes funky. Anyone else have this problem? The only 2D stage i've made that worked perfectly I didn't load in brawl wall.

On the Data partition for NTSC-U what are the names for each SSE stage, i've been looking for them and i've searched a few times but can't find them. Can anyone tell me?

Is it possiable to port over the rain effect from distant planet onto a 2D stage over Final Destination.

I've seen a FD texturer which is rainning. I'm wondering how I would go about doing this.

I feal like this may be asked a lot but I searched and dint' find anything so i'll ask.

Is there a way to change where chracters spawn when making a 2D stage? Better yet can I also change where the revival platforms come to?

I've been trying to create Ness, Paula, Poo and Jeff.

Yes Ness is allready in the game, but he's not actually Ness. His moves are compleatly different in SSBB than they are in Earthbound.

So far Ness Is released but is extreemly beta, I have not worked at him for quite some time (probablly when PSA was first released).

I'm working on Paula now. She's over Lucas. She's going a lot better than Ness and is pretty close to being done.

Jeff and Poo are were i'm stuck. I don't know who to put them as. I was thinking Jeff as Olimar because the pickmin can be armed bottle rockets. As for Poo I really don't know I was thinking Pikachu because it's eaiser to make the PSA for because I will allready have the Lighting attack.

Here is my biggest problem. Textures/ models. I'm not very good at PSA but textures and models (by that I mean vertex hacks) I can't do at all. That is where I really need help. If someone wants to make a model/ texture for Jeff at least (it can be done from assist trophies right?) and if possiable make it olimar just because the alloys crash my game  :'( and I can't figure out why I'm using all the codes i'm supposed to they just don't work.

So if people can give me some input and help with models that would be nice

Oh and btw this is Ness as of right now exceppt the side smash can now be used

Well i didn't quite know where to put this but i was wondering what are the limitations to what model hacks can currently do???

I want to know for some of my PSA's what kinds of models are possiable and which are impossiable. Simpley that is all lol sorry for sounding like a total n00b.

For some reason after i updated the HBC Gecko OS just stoped loading brawl. Everything goes fine until after the screen goes black were it would usually go to brawl it will just stay a black screne now. I know i have the right arragnement of files because It was just working the other day. I also tried updateing Gecko and it still wont work help.
