ok Martyr, that Mewtwo just looks almost like the default color, what we're going on with mostly, is giving darker color schemes to the characters. what i think you can do, is look up some other darker or purple Pokémon or other similar characters and use it as inspiration, but like someone said before, the bad thing is that Mewtwo has only 2 color options: body and tail, so, choose wisely
In addition, DON'T MAKE MEWTWO A GRAPE.
Honestly, it irks me beyond my hatred for spies. You have to make him feel natural you know? The scheme is fine as it is, you know have to add some sort of unique factor into it.
I hate to say this, but I am not familiar with the term saturation. Does that mean how bright the orange is?
correct. The more saturated, the more color, the less, less color.
In other words, lower the saturation and see how the orange slowly looses its intensity. You have to put it on a level that is not irksome to see.
Due to it being a brawl style recolor,(something this project demands) you wanna make it blend with the rest of ROb colors. In other words, the colors mustbe faded a ton when you compare each ROB... try it, and you'll see what I mean.
Saturation is the hardest step in recoloring, don't loose your motivation because of it.
Ok, took in the recommendations and here is Mango R.O.B. as of right now. I am not a huge fan of the little inside pieces staying the same colour. Should I make those Mango as well? Also, the text "Family Computer Robot" I think should be Mango.
Its way better than before, remember recoloring a character doesn't mean you have to recolor the whole thing all the time, when you recolor something that is not supposed to be recolored, you make it ugly.
The color selection is fine as it is, now all you gonna do is to tweak the saturation, in a way, its not intense.
