Sorry about that. We've been to busy and neglected doing this for a good while. I'm on it... If the site would allow me....

EDIT: [censored]. 10 minutes to add 2 of them...

EDIT 2: Done. Added the Team to the OP, and gave these 4 members their Award.

Thanks a ton!

I don't recall if you guys are still actively giving awards, but we have the final new members of the almost finished smash 3 project:

List of new members:
Moblin
Codex-9
Amazerommu
Large Leader

Also, I mentioned this like 20+ times, but the smash 3 team pin is not on the OP.

It looks nice! Did you get the model from models ressource?

The main terrain and the main body of the big mech I got them from the resourse, the rest are either ripped from colors or obtained by editing Brawl Models.

I stopped posting here because I think it doesn't even matter if I post or not:

Its all about the WiiU imports now. Those are the ones that people are giving attention.

Well, you see, once a mod gets approved to enter the Vault (not having the pending tag) its up to the creator and the community to maintain that link and pictures alive, either by refreshing the link or donating a link via the community support thread.

The BV staff can delete these, especially if a long time has passed while it was broken... but there is still a chance for the owner or someone who has these mods to step forwards and donate their copy of said mod.

But when people upload mods with broken links and pictures, it won't last long.

That seems like a pain in the ass, smash 4 are already updated in that regard... all they need to do is give those their personal flavor

We are not using S4 models, its too easy.

We been through this before multiple times, we are either making the Brawl Model better, or making our own adjusted/fixed/custom models better... is the challenge we partake for this project.

By the way, we are still active, but not on this thread, we are most active in the Smashboards Thread: http://smashboards.com/threads/the-smash-3-project-not-working-with-project-m.340807/

Plenty of our members don't hang out on KCMM anymore.

I wish to add a bit more:

Uploading Methods

Any link that requires a user to do anything other than click "download" is not allowed. Sites with timers (e.g. RapidShare) are fine; sites with ads or passwords are not.

It came to my attention that dropbox asks users to sign on dropbox if they don't have an account (received multiple reports about it), however one can say "no" and continue using dropbox normally.

4shared has these fake download buttons that might be a bit deadly for novice users. I believe these are considered as ads.

If you guys spot a odd website you've never seen before when trying to download a mod, tell us about it and we'll check it out.

It works for me. Try clearing your browser cache.

Though it might be something related to the 503 i just got on the forum.

I did the thing, no dice. I'll wait it out.

[snip]

If he doesn't want a collab, don't collab, the reason might be that KTH doesn't wanna be collabed for this entry.

Even if they or they not worked directly with mods... they decide whenever they would like to be collabed or not.

KTH recieves collabs with the S3 official submissions because he's an active member. And he wants to keep the collab.

Post Merge: May 16, 2015, 11:44:33 AM
According to the logs, both KTH and Nanobuds removed their slot from the collab spot onto the credit spot so that your mod does not appear on their vaults.

The PM also mentions you who did the change.

Post Merge: May 16, 2015, 11:48:44 AM
Only the collaborated and the BV staff can change those settings. However, the staff usually don't have reasons to apply collabs on mods.
58  Help & Tutorials / Stage Tutorials / Scout's Collection of Tutorials- Boundaries on: May 09, 2015, 09:21:15 PM
Welcome to my tutorial thread!

Here I'll compile the stage making tutorials I write on my free time. This thread will be updated as soon as a tutorial is done.

So, yadadada introduction. Let's start:

Chapter 1: Stage Boundaries

Whatcha need?
-> Brawl Box (these are the one's I use for stage editing: .73b and .75b, but all version "b"'s and above are cool.      After .71, you get a bunch of symbols that help you find stuff easier)
-> A stage, I'll be using Theytah's 20XX Rainbow FD for comedic purposes: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=207651

That's it, lets begin!

Part 1- Where are the boundary settings and how can I preview them?

Well firstly, you need to open your stage in Brawl Box. You need to look, in the jumbled mess inside these .pacs a model that is usually called "StgPosition". Modders are usually kind enough to  store them in the last few "ModelData" folders:

You know what it is, so keep in mind this... you really don't need yo touch it, since previewing it shows everything blank. Instead you need to preview the main arc file.

So after that you might need to enable the following data.

Zoom out so you can see the whole thing.

You see a bunch of pretty circles and rectangles now, I'll briefly explain what they all mean.
Blue: Is where the camera never goes, it stops following the player and instead shows the player through a scope.
Red: You die if you touch this.
Green Spheres: These are the spawn point of your characters in a beginning of a match, these need to be close to a floor or other wise it will show red instead, meaning the character will glitch his or her entrance.
Gray Spheres: This are the item spawn zones. Items spawn out of it. Cool. (in this stage is not shown must be a small visual Brawl Box glitch)

Part 2: Edit them Boundaries

So, what can we do with FD? Well, for one, I am annoyed that Fox's upsmash kills me all the time. So lets boost the sky box!

First select the "Stg Position" model on the tab above and open the side window.

Now lets find the dead zone for the ceiling!
The bone responsible for it is named "Dead0N", fitting name.

Open the bottom window

This tells you the current location of that Death line, lets rise it up juuust a bit.

Perfect! Now Fox can't kill ya with that annoying Up smash. You see I boosted the "Y" coordinates by small amounts.
But, I'm also annoyed getting kneed to the side death boundaries. So lets boost "X" a bit as well.

Nice! But its now uneven... better fix the other border then!
The other border is called Dead1N. Lets do the same to these coordinates!

But, I realized that I would like to see my character flying from the great beyond! So lets fix those as well. The name of these coordinates are CamLimit0N and 1N.

Lets give the camera guy some more work, he slacks alot.

Good, now do the same to N1

Peeeerfecto! Now your characters and the Lakitu have more space to work with. Save the settings and test.

Perfect!

Perfecter!

Perfectest!

Hey gents!

I recently decided to start using v0.75b because I need to cut some issues with  my "Meshes" always being lost due to exporting.

Can you gentlemen please briefly explain how  "Reimport Meshes" feature works and how to use it?
