Okay, I seem to be having some trouble getting the pack to work. I'm using a 2GB card, so I deleted RSB3 and RSB2, and also replaced the RSBE01 with the 2GB one. I got all the files in SDHCX (not the folder itself) onto the SD card, booted up the game, stuck the SD card in, and went to the level creator, and nothing happened. Am I missing something? Did I need Project M on my SD card first?
By the way, thanks for making an awesome (looking) mod, you've put a ton of your time into it, and that's really awesome Cheesy

Well, first off,  while I've taken a break from all things Brawl for a while... I don't have to go to level editor to get the build to work for me, so it's possible the method you're using isn't compatible. What are you playing it on?

Can you add Isaac from golden sun and Lloyd from tales of symphonia? Because I'd like to play as them, but I don't want to download pikezer's mod or Smash bros frozen edition. (p.s. Kitsu-Chan's Ninten would be nice for a Ness combo).

I have some plans for Isaac, but I don't know when they'll come to fruition.

As for Lloyd... my problem with him is that unless he's been updated since July, he seemed to have some issues for me and didn't really meet the qualifications necessary for me to want to include him in the build... beyond being a good "Tales of" rep. I'll check him out before I release, I do WANT to put him in, but I can't get myslf to due to my hang ups with the moveset. It's a fine mod, I used to use it, but last time I checked I felt it wouldn't fit in well with the build... we'll see. Maybe I'll spend some time fixing the concerns I had if I can.

Kistu-Chan made a PSA? Or do you mean he edited a model? Either way, I'd like to add Ninten and masked man, but I'm focusing on stages right now.

And that's my update for today. While it's not much, I added in 7 more stages.

I need 78, and we're now at 17. I've got plenty of stages downloaded, but as of right now I feel I only have stages that cap in the late 50s, so I'm still sort of hovering around the vault seeing what comes out and what's updated for future inclusions. Who knows, maybe I mis-counted, I'm hoping I did.

Also, according to the Brawl Expansion thread, they have developed a work around that allows people to play Brawl EX packs in single player modes despite missing stock icons, so this work around will be integrated into my build before the next release.

You made a thread? That's great, I remember we talked a while ago when I made your Ridley moveset work in Brawl Smiley


I've got my own projects to kind of keep me busy, but I will definitely look into making the new PSAs work in Brawl and be Brawl balanced. CF is one of my mains, and I can use Ganondorf pretty well. I can use your Ridley extremely well, so if it's in the same ball park then I should be fine for testing, but since I'm sure you won't have a shortage for PM testers, I could act as a Brawl version tester/balancer/bug finder if needed. If not, I understand. I'm going to follow this thread for sure!

Goku vs Smash 4 Ryu is going to be a dream come true. Kamehameha vs Haduken. There's a cripsness to this model too. I think he's going to look great in game.

These are great news, the gfx fix for the new goku is absolutely needed, but can I recomend using the old kamehameha wave? I think the new one looks a bit odd tbh

I thought about this too. I believe I tried but I couldn't fit the other gfx in... I like the new gfx for the final smash, but the old gfx for the old KaMeHaMe-Ha. I'll see if that's accurate again. It's in my notes that I couldn't, but something doesn't seem right about that...

As of right now, I've got the new Goku in and the old one skinned as Gohan. Both have their GFX ported and have proper SFX.

I haven't made updates in a while since I'm really waiting for me things to be made. Sorry if that sounds like a lame excuse, but everyone knows I'm not much of a creator, I'm more organizing a compilation.

I'm basically waiting for more content to be released. Once I have enough stages for the 4th stage page I'll upload it.

By that time I'll have the following new characters:

Link 64
Captain Falcon 64
Fox 64
Luigi 64

New Goku
Old one reskinned as Adult Gohan

And a few others we're looking at, plus anything else that comes out. Levels are the biggest piece of it in my mind, as they help with the themeing of each build. So, I suppose for now we'll just wait for more stages... I added 10 new ones and then took a step back, so I'll see what's come out in the last month. Maybe there's enough now? Time will tell.

This project isn't dead, I just would rather crunch a weekend and add in a bunch of things then occasionally work on it at this point, so I'm waiting.

The purpose of the thread is to provide moveset ideas, so I did, but through pm, as I felt some of the things I'm working on could use some help (I just didn't want to make those things public yet as I like to have a few edits people didn't see coming yet in the build).

Everything he's saying is true, and while he doesn't have any examples of work on the site, we messaged back and forth about some of the things I needed help with, and I have no doubt in my mind that he knows his stuff. The problem is that the things in particular are a secret... so I can't be persuaded into revealing what they are, but if my dedication to the community means anything to anyone, then please believe me.

Anything he works on in the build he can choose to release if he wishes, or people can see his work once the newest version of my build gets put up for download.

I've worked with other people who had no releases on the Vault who were excellent with PSA like Itman and Batman64. Both of them had no PSA mods before helping me, but they still knew their stuff and I learned a lot from both of them and they're responsible for a lot of the PSA work done in the current version of Brawl. Not everyone who joins the site starts with a portfolio, hell I modded Brawl for 2 years with BB and PSA before I made an account and sharing any of my edits, but rest assured, if MichaelR works with me then I guarantee you'll see his talent as a part of my build, and in anything he decides to release on his own.

Ah I see, yeah it reminded me of Dissidia. It looked like the Shinra Corp lobby to me or something from FF 7.  Also, did you run into a problem with Reset Bomb forest? It looked like you had the transition down, but I guess there's more to do. Sorry, I'm just excited for Smash 3DS on home console. Smiley

I think I'll start sharing mini updates:

For the 4th page I've got 1/78 complete.

For 64 characters I've got a total of 4(5 if you count Metal Mario) out of an intended 6 (complications and lack of animations keep me from doing all of them, plus a 64 model has not been made for all of then either)

As for more characters being added in, I have nothing at the moment.

I do plan on finally adding in some new models, I know of at least 5, so once all of these bars are full I'll release.

You've got a lot of WIP vids out right now o_o I don't even know which one to be excited for aha, the lobby level looks cool, but I don't recognize the source. And the Tomasachi searchlight is a neat inclusion Smiley

Other than Goku, Gohan is getting some updates. and I mean some MAJOR updates. AND before people ask, YES the Father Son Kamehameha will be included in one of his Final Smashes



I took a break for a while. I see the last update was about Gohan. That's pretty cool, the moveset's grown on me a lot Smiley

With Goku, are you going to have any alternate models for him that represent other characters? Like how you've got Balrog and Hitmonchan over Little Mac?

Okay... so I went on hiatus for a bit to play some other games. I've got some pms to answer (and I will) but I wanted to dabble in some other games for a bit. Now that I have, I figured I could do some minor updates to the build.

For starters, I decided to attempt to just make the 4th page stage code myself, and I'm confident I succeeded. Still need to do some tests, but I'm pretty sure this is the real deal.

So we can expect to see 78 more stages.

On top of that, I've added in:

Riolu (my own spin on a moveset using some aspects of different PSAs)
Mega Lucario (basically additional PM moves are now applied)
Link 64
Captain Falcon 64

And I've added in Smash 64 sfx so that when those character hits connect, they make the Smash 64 noises.

I need to answer a few of you in pm, and I appreciate the feedback on the thread, but with the state of the build currently, I'm basically satisfied with how it plays, and where the characters are right now (I might make SOME edits) so I'm really just adding in things from here on out. They won't always be amazing, but they'll be SOMETHING.

Obviously the next big thing will be the next 78 stages.

The final build will have 156 stages and a full roster, but until then, enjoy what I've got, and I'll do a mini update at some point in the future.
