1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Is it possible to edit which BRSTMs play for a stage? on: February 26, 2015, 10:05:09 AM
I think there is a code that allows you to give track slots to stages by taking it from one to the other. no clue though. if anything, just take a Brstm file straight from the game's files and rename it to replace a different song.
Sorry for the late reply, but I didn't think I was going to get any in the first place. I would do that, but my thing is that I want to have a massive amount of options for each stage. For example, if I really like a song, I want it on a few stages, or at least possible on some, but sometimes it just doesn't fit with the limited number of slots some stages have. The menu only has four song options, but there are plenty of brstms I could use in the menu if it just had the room.

For the past few weeks I've been wondering...

Is it possible to give stages different/new song IDs? For example, would it be possible to have "my music" for the main menu to include songs from Final Destination, Norfair, or even the whole game's soundtrack? Is there any way to allow songs to play on multiple stages? Or do you have to edit the stage itself maybe (if it's possible at all)?

Bowser looks amazing! I can't wait to try this out. Thanks for putting priority on him, I was uncomfortable with his original Smash 3 stuff, but this seems like such a huge improvement that I'm confident. My only issue is that the CSS won't have his Dry Bowser CSP. Oh well. In a few days, I can fix that on my own.

edit: So, I need to redownload Sonic, Wario, and Falco as well?

Agreed with all the positive comments here. I hope to improve these in the future by way of "true Lucas" alts, themed recolors (aka normal green recolor, mars red, etc.), but even so, these look even better than I expected.

Well done and good work. Can't wait to see more.

Also, question while I'm thinking of it: Will the Pokemon trainer Pokemon, Olimar, Wolf, Sonic, etc, be released with a Project M friendly version, as in their recolors match the reworked Project M colors?

Wow, I have to say that Fox render is amazing, along with the actual recolors. A shame to know you guys are moving on, but there's also hope for others to pick up the tradition and continue the legacy. If I can, I'd like to try my hand at some of it once I get my resources (a working Windows PC). Eager to see what you guys push out in the coming weeks. My build could use more updated Smash 3 for sure, if Ganondorf is anything to go by.

Smash 4 Dark Samus reskin, I hope? I had ideas for other cool recolors, but sadly I have not the tools to extract the .png files unless someone would be so kind as to do so for me?

I'd love for this Project to continue. Pretty please?

I say some alts should go, and some should stay. Pikachu's P:M alt comes to mind when thinking of alts that should be changed.

I can't stress enough how amazing this mod is. It literally looks better than 95% of what's in the game. Thanks so much for making this. Every little detail is eye candy. The cannon animation/split, the perfectly metallic-looking effects on the armor, the vibrancy of the colors. It's so amazing.

I plan to make recolors of these soon.

I figured out one of the triggers, at least for the taunt freeze. It always freezes in the taunt animation if I press the side taunt button again about 2/3rds of the way through the animation. Hope this helps fix bugs for anyone else.

Is anyone else having problems with this occasionally freezing? Might just be my game, but in the course of only a few minutes of gawking at the amazing textures/lighting, my game froze twice, seemingly randomly. First time, it froze when I did side-taunt into ice mode. Second time, it froze when I grabbed Donkey Kong. Both instances were in Project M.

It's odd, because I'd taunted several times and grabbed several times before those freezing instances.

Very excited that this is coming to fruition. A wonderful surprise to come back to after a week-long trip (without internet).

Any progress these last few weeks? I assumed you were busy with exams like me during that time so I've waited till now to ask.

Young Samus looks great. I'm hoping for you that the rigging goes well so that it's easily compatible with Project M's hurt/hitboxes.

Thanks for answering those questions, too. Can't wait!

I like the third one. Can't tell about the second one since the chest is blacked out.

Edit: I keep looking back and seeing how improved the model is. Very nice work, man. This is going to be the smoothest Other M import ever.

The metallic work on the texture is coming along too, but do you think the metal will portions ever look like this again? This one and the more recent screens look like a pretty similar texture, but perhaps with different lighting? I'm not sure what you've been up to or if it's just a test texture and whether or not these still have glow, because I think you said you took it off but I may have misunderstood.
