WHAT IF. everyone decides to build a separate SSB4 character and one person just grabs them altogether for the BrawlEX. I think Nintendo can't follow then.

Open it in BrawlBox, find the sound and scroll to the bottom of its properties. Under Misc there is an entry called InfoIndex. Convert that into hex for the number.

So what config would one need to edit to accomplish this, and what exactly do I edit?

good news guys,
ive worked on a version of my alternate sound loader
and now you dont have to use button combinations, the folders get swapped whenever u choose a character with a ceritain ID
ill post more info once its ready for releasse

Yay!!!!! I can't wait! This method is just really confusing, but I still thank shock44 for making a tutorial on this.

Additional Info: This has a few custom edits to the model and PSA. I vertexed the model to be taller, and edited her Down-Special. The animation is horrible. I didn't make it. Also, she has cosmetics, but no sound or announcer call. I didn't include every folder of my SD card, because a lot of people don't use the hackless method, as that is how I load hacks. I did however, include a .txt file of my codes. Go nuts.

I hate having to be a pain in the butt and keep telling you to desaturate because you're not doing it enough, but you need to desaturate the golden/yellow parts. It looks more like mustard than a true metallic gold. The boots also look really pale compared to the tunic, give it some more vibrancy to match it. And you may as well revert the sword textures back to the way they were. Same with the belt buckle, I don't like the silver in them, it clashes with everything else. Mars is all about warm colors, and silver is not warm.

I know I sound really picky and annoying, but I feel like I'm holding your hand while you do it.

We're only focusing on team colors. If you want a Project Mustard or Marshmallow, you can do them yourself, but they won't be absorbed into our project.

The silver adds variety to the hack. It would be kinda bland to have it red, gold, orange, or brown. It looks nice silver. But I do agree that the gold look mustard-y.

This has only happened to me one time. If I were you, Id  add one thing at a time and see whats causing the problem.

I'm using it for my Rosalina clone. It works sometimes. And when I wish to play as Peach without Rosaina, Peach uses Rosalina's.sawnd. Other than those glitches, It works fine.
