Yep. This is one of the major setbacks.

Well, I just now edited it and it works when viewing my whole Vault.

When directly linked to respective hack, it shows up as "?".

That is strange, but it's a lot more specific than the error has usually been. That might make it easier to find the source.

Just the way some stuff gets cached. But if that fixed it, it wouldn't revert back for no reason.

It has to do with the way BV is retrieving stuff from the database, because all those characters are stored just fine. When I'm done with the recode (which I was working on until I stopped to write this), maybe it'll fix itself. I'm changing it to interact with the database the same way the forum does, so...

This host is by far the best one we've had, and we've had several. We've been through plenty of hosting problems in the past and don't need outside consultation. The one problem with this one is so rare and so fleeting that changing to a different host because of it would be a major overreaction.

Speaking of overreactions, you need to calm the hell down; your response was completely uncalled for and more than a little puzzling. The intent of my message was in the first line:

"Trying code for us" was an example of "anything related to running or maintaining this site"; it wasn't a reference to any specific incident.
