It's easier to use the CSSRoster.dat which can be found on the BrawlEx thread. Are you using File Patch Code 3.5.1b? Use my config.dat and the gameconfig.txt. Is your RSBE01.gct in codes? If so, try Nebulon's pack as a base, as in dump the entire thing in the root and modify the characters to your liking. If you do, don't forget to edit the CSSRoster.dat and use the 4 gig .gct file.
You need the fighter files for the characters (FitChar.pac, FitChar00.pac, etc.). You'll need either the CSSRoster.dat or custom css code. You also need a config.dat with AXNextFrame in the root.
If your on Windows 8, make sure your using the XP version of the tool. sc_selcharacter has to be compressed to either LZ77 or none. Not Extended LZ77. If there's a common5, it's best to take it out while using it.
I have files set up the way you said, but when i enter brawl the game won't recognize my sd. I know the card is fine because it works with everything else. And without being able to use smash stack, no minima launcher.
The reason it won't be detected is because the wii can only recognize a regular sd that's 2 gigs or less. Homebrew apps are the only things able to detect anything else.
Quick questions about brawl minus clone engine: 1.Why does Max 3.3 still use the code and not the cssroster.dat? 2.Do I need custom cosmetics to add a clone?I tried to add some clones from my vbrawl pac and it didn't work?
Thanks
Brawl Minus uses the code because it doesn't have the flickering CSS problem.
I'm trying to hack my Wiimode on wii u using smash stack, problem is... i just learned ssbb doesnt like sdhc. So would temporarily formatting my sdhc to fat16 solve this problem? If not, is there another solution?
You can only use a 2 gig regular SD card. It must be FAT, FAT16, FAT32, etc.
Okay, the ISO works, but what about codes? I have them on my sd card, but I go to game settings and ocarina, but it says no codes found. Post Merge: May 20, 2014, 07:36:32 PMNothing is loading from the SDHC card. Neither the codes nor the Gamecube ISO I put on work, and the .gct and ISO are in the correct path.
