I thought the RGB ones were considered to be normal maps and greyscale ones being bump maps. That's how I always saw it. Of course in the end they're the same thing, just processed and stored differently.

I'm off uni right now myself for this entire month and most of next month, with the exception of a week of exams I have starting on the 14th.
It's most likely possible using indirect textures and special shader settings, but I haven't come across any factory MDL0s that actually use bump maps for normals so there's not really a way to copy the correct settings.
This looks like a mystery for RTB!

Though personally, I think I'll be sticking with Generations Shadow. I like how yours is looking MarioDK, but it still looks like Sonic to me, especially in the face. Heck, he still has a visible outline on his belly.

With those if done right... There SHOULDN'T be a need for more Shadows... But knowing the idiots that swarm the vault, like hungry Zubats, they'll eat it up, then regurgitate it... Er... I mean, download it, then reupload it with a worse texture, then call it "True Perfect Shadow".

I've always seen hitbox (and skybox for that matter) as an abstract term. I never actually likened it to an actual box. I would think to myself things like "spherical hitbox" and stuff
