I'm trying to make a young Scott Pilgrim outfit for Lucas, based on an outfit he wears in one of the comics. But I can't get his pants, socks and shoes to stay colored when I load it into Brawl+!
Bump for deadness and to remind people that anyone can contribute! I'm working on MotaKnight right now (Mota is spanish slang for weed) but there are still plenty of characters to go around!
So I ran the automatic update on my SD card and I was used to it altering my .pac files for the stages, but now the stage select screen is all wonky too...when I press to show the melee stages, the stage portraits are all brawl stages! And when I load 75m from the brawl stage list, it gives me the cut part of rumble falls (3 platforms) and when I load it from the Melee stages menu, it comes up as the naruto level skin I actually put over the level!
What's going on here? Is anyone else having this problem?
for future reference, just in case u decide to do other textures, make sure theyre always png format. back then i saved them in gif format n that messes up the texture.
To add to this, the texture formats, RGB5A3 and RGBA8, are known for having multiple transparent colors, which aren't seen with the PNG format, even in Photoshop CS3 and CS4. In cases like that, export the textures as TarGA (.tga) images and edit them in CS3 or CS4.
And like ItalianStallion said, never export textures as GIF images.
I always do export as a .png. So you're saying for things like the eyes I should export as .tga? Maybe I'll try that next time, thanks.
