also i saw you said something about it taking the longest to match up CSP's and such with in game files. an easy fix is to export the original characters cosmetics and rename the files and replace them. thought it might help people new to this.
Well do clones match their originals costume IDs? Like how the order of costumes in the fighter folder don't match the order they appear in sc_selcharacter. If so, then that makes sense, but otherwise it is just a pain. And then do BPs have a different order as well, or which do they follow; the CSS or fighter folder order? I should probably know this by now, but lately I just haven't had the time to spend on it. School semester is coming to a close and I have way to many art projects going on right now that need to be finished before any smash bros can happen!  Undecided UGH! Way to go life, getting in the way of the fun stuff again. Tongue

Well my max at the Moment is 60-63, but when I added all the characters, all icons were very small and there was a Huge space with nothing there, I just want to make it so that this space filled without adding more characters.
Yeah I'm honestly not sure if there is a way to do that. That just naturally happens with BrawlEx. I'm not sure if there is a way to change the layout of it...
Try asking on the BrawlEx thread. Someone there will know better than me more than likely. Tongue

Like clone the Trainer? Idk how that would work, but you can just replace the individual pokemon costumes. Unless you like the transforming pokemon? With DIY being a base of Project M the pokemon are meant to be separate. If you are trying to combine them from there I'm not sure exactly how to go about that without messing around with it myself.

Small CSS? The icons shrink once you max out the grid for a normal screen. To compensate it makes the icons smaller. Eventually you can fill it up enough to make it look like this

Hey is it possible to change PKMN Trainer and his pokemon in DIY without messing with Ivysaur, Charizard and Squirtle?
DIY is specifically for Project M where the pokemon are split and the trainer is completely removed. Therefore there is no need to change the trainer when you will never actually see him in game.

Maybe you could make a tutorial on doing it the long way. Video tutorials are hard to follow and the community could use some more detailed text-based ones.
I'm pretty sure that someone has already made a long one...

This one was just made on the spur of the moment when I was helping a guy out. I don't plan on making another tutorial about it.

Yes that is correct. XD. Funny enough, aI made him perfectly twice as large as normal Kirby to fit D3's bones. Size modding by .5 brings him to normal, but the change is drastic with grabs and stuff.
I personally think it would really be great to be a giant kirby with a hammer... That sounds like a lot more fun to me than a normal size kirby with a hammer. Tongue Do what you will though, but if you do upload it to the vault, be sure to have 2 versions of it. Wink

OK, I added a Darkrai clone to my game but some of his animations are way to big. Is there a way to change there size?

Edit: I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what to do on step3 of PCMB CSP tutorial, could you help me out a little bit?

Ok for some reason after adding clones the game is freezing alot more often then it used to. Is there a way to fix this.

Also, is there a way to add sound files?
Sound?... I know there is a way, but I have never messed with it. Search the tutorial threads for help there.

Where is the game freezing with clones? Is it consistent, or does it appear to happen randomly during matches? How many clones have you added, and what PSA are giving you troubles? I know some PSA don't like PM physics; such as the Goku. I believe that one freezes when trying to air dodge... I think... don't quote me on that one... Tongue

I personally like what the TP sword looks like. Either one works. You can open the files in BrawlBox and view their models if you really want to figure out which one you want.

You would rename those files as "fitBlackKnightMotionEtc".  You would also rename the recolors to fitBlackKnight00, fitBlackKnight01, fitBlackKnight02, etc...

You would then place those files into the fighter/blackknight folder.

Actually everything worked up until I go into the match, for some reason Black Knights attack are the same as Ganon's. Also when I try to change his colour and enter a match I end up as a Ganon recolour instead of Black Knight.

My PSA didn't come with a "FitMotionEtc" file, is this why his moveset isn't changed?
Alright. So for your color issue you probably don't have all the color slots filled in. Here are some recolors of the black knight that you would need to add to the fighter folder.

I know the PSA that I use requires you to use his down-taunt to pull out his sword.

The FitMotionEtc file is needed in order for him to have new animations. He may still have the new PSA hitboxes and such because of the FitGanon file, but because the animation file ins't there he doesn't look like he is doing anything.

On the vault, it seems that the Black Knight hacks that are labeled PSA don't actually come with the full PSA. Idk why that is, but either way you should make sure to have the FitGanon.pac and FitGanonMotionEtc.pac to ensure that you do have a different PSA. Tongue

Well... I know I personally used this PSA for my black knight, but any should work really...

What about it isn't working? Does it still crash after SSS, or does something weird happen during battle?
