1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Portraits, Menus, (etc...) / Re: HELP: Looking for Ness CSP on: February 15, 2015, 02:42:51 PM
I remembered someone uploaded their SD Card files awhile back with the CSP on it and exported it from there.

Awhile back I had a CSP for Ness which looked like this:

It was my favorite but I ended up losing it and haven't been able to find the original unedited version anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find it?

I don't really know what common5.pac is. I've heard of it but I don't have it anywhere. I thought it might have came with Riivolution but I didn't find anything upon redownloading it and it's not on my SD Card anywhere. I apologize for my ignorance.

I've been trying to use this character select portrait pack for awhile now but all I've been able to do is get the mugshots during matches and at the results screen to change. Everything at the character select screen stays the same. I'm not too experienced using Brawl hacks beyond changing the music and character skins so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I read something about changing sc_selcharacter.pac to sc_selcharacter_en.pac to work properly with Riivolution but that simply causes the game to crash whenever I go to the character select screen. Can someone help me with this?

I don't want to ruin the fun of April Fools but this is the 3rd website that has pulled a trick on me in the last hour. It's starting to get on my nerves and this is probably the most inconvenient of the three.
Oh well, I can deal with it I suppose.

Alright, I got it to work with Riivolution.
Thanks a lot.

It's 4GB if I recall correctly.
Should I try Riivolution then?

Okay, I've having trouble getting character texture hacks to work. I've never done them before so I'm presuming I'm simply doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

What I've done so far is:
• Installed the Homebrew Channel on my Wii
• Made the appropriate folders on my SD card. (Apps, Codes, Private, etc.)
• Downloaded Gecko OS and placed it in the app folder.
• Downloaded Code Manger, used it to create RSBE01.gct, (the file patch code,) and placed it inside the codes folder.
• Downloaded a character texture for testing purposes, specifically Classy Diddy by PND.
• Extracted the files, FitDiddy05.pac and FitDiddy05.pcs, to Private > Wii > App > RSBE > PF > Fighter > Diddy

From there I put the SD Card back in my Wii and booted up the game off of the Gecko OS app, but the texture hacks do not appear. I feel like I'm missing a step or something.
