That reminds me, did you ever find out what was up with that Snakegrenade bug?
I'm thinking that it is the Goldeneye007 mine model. It's weird, because the mine itself works, but I don't know why that would interfere with Snake's grenade. I'm pretty sure it's just a random bug because it doesn't make sense. You can fix it by using Project M's default common3 file. I will try it again with the new P:M 3.5 common3, and if I get the same mistake, then I'll just have to remove the mine. Post Merge: October 21, 2014, 08:58:40 PM
I'm actually working on re-creating many things from Melee, like the "Congratulations" screens (for both All-Star and Classic), and indeed, the intro screen. But in order to do that, I need to finish all the characters, and I'm still missing Zelda, Sheik, Ganon, and Pit.
I've also been thinking about recreating the Melee intro video using the Remastered models and textures, but I doubt it. It would take me way too long, and being in college, it's something that I don't have a lot of. I'm considering it, though
What might be interesting is if you did make the Brawl version costumes of certain characters: Fox, Falco, Wolf, Link, Zelda, Ganon. So that they can fill the alt slots while the PM alts stay as the new primary. You could at least have them now temporarily and send out the alts later when new PM is released. Might be a better choice over other red/green/blue colours. It would also be quite cool to see how you'd envision those designs in Melee.
When it comes to filling the extra slots for Project M, I add a few more costumes that either I came up with, or were intended as requests. For Zelda, I will make a purple costume inspired by Brawl. For Ganon, I'll also make a Grandpa Ganon costume.
You may have noticed that though Fox, Falco, and Link's costumes follow a Red, Green, and Blue pattern. The reason I didn't make those costumes look like Brawl is because their default colors are practically the same. Link has a green, red, and blue tunic in both Melee and Brawl, so it's pointless to put them twice.
Haha, quite a lot XD and there are still more! I can't make progress in SSBMR since Project M hasn't released P:M 3.5. I have nothing else to do, so I work on requests in the meantime.
1. That is actually a separate BRSTM file (it's actually not X05). I can make one if you'd like.
1. Not just like that. Here's a more specific example of what I want. In All-Star, there will be a fight with a Metal Mario and Luigi (if the metal is possible). I replaced one of the songs with "Metal Battle" (Melee). I want to program the game so that this specific song plays at this specific moment.
2. In All-Star, I have changed the order of the characters and stages. The first fight will be against 2 Yoshis, but when I test the game, the first portrait is still of Mr. Game&Watch. Are you sure that I can change that in MiscData editor?
3. I have tried both MiscData Editor and Classic Stage, and there is a "color" option with a bunch of numbers, but I don't know what numbers mean for each color.
4. I hope that is possible. I mean, there are so many numbers, I'm sure if you change certain series of numbers, you'll be able to change them to Giant or Metal.
My goal with SSBMR is to make it feel and play like Melee. In other words, expand Project M by modifying All Star and make it play like Melee's Adventure Mode, modify Classic Mode, etc. I need help with many things in regards to coding, but these are my biggest needs:
1. How to change which songs appear at a certain level (for example, I'll add a Metal Mario fight in All Star, and I replaced one of the songs for Metal Battle. I want this specific song to play at this specific moment, regardless of the song switch).
2. How to change the order of the portraits in the Rest Area stage (for example, instead of the first portrait being of Mr. Game&Watch, I want there to be 2 portraits of Yoshi)
3. In All Star mode, I want to change the colors of the characters (for example, I'll add a fight vs 2 Ness, but both of them are their default colors. I want one to be blue and the other one to be green)
4. How to add metal/giant characters to all All Star Mode (I want a fight against a Giant DK and Metal Mario and Luigi)
5. How can I make it so that in All Star mode, your damage goes back to 0%. And if that's not possible, how can I add more hearts to the rest area?
These are the things I need the most to achieve what I want. All help is appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Are you still continue with the Young/Toon Link? Because KTH recently made an amazing Hack and if he it's ok with that, you can use that model as base, if you want of course
Great job so far However i did have it freeze in classic mode when I was up against Snake, it seemed that it froze when he was trying to throw a grenade
Thank you. I'll take that into account for the next release
