So, this has been bugging me for a while. Doctor Mario's default costume is still the red costume, and I really don't want that because in team battles it also selects the red costume. How do I change it so that the default color is NOT assigned to red team and assign a different costume I wish to use for Red Team as such? Please help.
The CSS textures and models are somewhere in the second folder of the /pf/system/common5.pac file. Just open it with brawlbox, and do whatever changes you need to.
Yeah, I am familiar with where it is; although it's not in a common5.pac, it's in a seperate file. What I tried to do is turn the CSS Icon name into a transparent image, but a white strip takes its place. So I'm probably doing something wrong.
I know that there are some mods that remove the Icon names on the CSS (the one above the character's face), but I'm using the BrawlEx Clone Engine and I have a cosmetic template, so I wanted to know how I could remove them myself. It's becoming too tedious to keep making a little name for everyone when they all don't look the same (looks kinda half-assed).
If anyone can help that would be very appreciated.
This is my personal BrawlEx pack. My friends and I call it "Super Smash Bros. Brawl: ExPSA Edition".
Before you ask, no, I don't take credit for anything. I didn't wanna upload it to the Vault because I don't have a Capture Card to upload videos with AND it's messy as heck. The only thing that I say I could have done are the recolors of a certain Bleach character.
Also, before you delve into this... it's pretty hectic. All characters are insanely strong, and can interrupt attacks quite fast. This has been ExPSA Edition's formula for a long time. It's a form of balancing by making everyone over-the-top amazing. A lot of these mods are Brawl Minus mods, and the others are from people all over. Thank you, KCMM.
If you want to download, just click the link above. If you wanna comment on it, please do so. I like feedback. Especially on P:M Mewtwo.
I'm doing a little side project for some friends called Brawlee. I've been giving several PSA's a Hybrid Air Dodge implementing Brawl's Air Dodge and Melee's Air Dodge. The coding was used from an Athena PSA (The author's name eludes me) and I have been giving it to several characters. So far I have:
1) vBrawl Mario 2) vBrawl Link 3) Minus Pikachu
Of course I've been editing them so that they're MUCH better. Enhancements! Too bad I can't make any PSA's of my own.
Next on my list is the rest of the Original 12. Any ideas for PSA's I should use?
I use the BrawlEx Clone engine. I notice when I use the config utility, I can add a costume slot. When I try to add the cosmetics (The CSP, the BP, etc.) after editing Mario's Fighter00.dat (his Fighter Configuration file), the seventh costume wouldn't show. I wonder what I'm doing wrong, but I guess I'll have to start from scratch first.
What exactly do I have to do to get an extra costume to show up? If you can, please help. I want to add a costume to Kirby, as well.
Nevermind, guys. I just dragged n' dropped just because I didn't wanna have to bother. Mewtwo plays great! Thanks for helping me out, all of you. (Yes, even you too, Ness)
Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it. Post Merge: November 05, 2014, 04:26:12 PMOh, yeah. I want to change his cosmetics and his other things to Slot 48. I have to rename the configs, edit the .rel file and edit the cosmeticconfig to find out where Mewtwo's cosmetics are, correct?
Is there a Project M Mewtwo for BrawlEx that goes over Lucario? If so, can someone link me to it? That'd be nice. I'm asking because I have a Mewtwo PSA that isn't quite the best. I'd rather modify P:M's Mewtwo (even though I hate P:M)
Like in Project M; I want Samus' Bombs to explode when they touch someone. How do I do that with Samus' PSA? Also, where is the Sub Routine for them located so that I can edit their damage?
