I've read the forum rules and determined bumping this is okay, since one can't possibly be considered repetitive bumping. I would like a moderator to inform me if coming back here every few weeks with no answer to bump it is okay... as an answer to this concern is really important to me and I was not able to find a solution, still.

As the title says, I tried to create a clone based off of the standalone Giga Bowser module. I did the same exact thing which allowed all of my other characters to work, yet no matter what I do my clone simply will not load and there's I have no idea why. Can't be the moveset or modules. (currently default)
I don't know what I messed up so if you have a question you think might solve it, let me know.

Yes. Just to be sure, what adjustments should be made to prevent this? Pichu works on his... her... its...? ... His own if I don't pick Pikachu before.  Is there an edit to the configs to fix it I may have missed?

Have you done anything else to get this to work correctly?

Are you JUST choosing the Pikachu clone, or are you choosing Pikachu, ending the game and then choosing the clone the next game?

How can I fix the BrawlEX crashing when picking a character then a clone after?
Like if I choose Pikachu for one game, and after that game pick Pichu, the game will crash before the stage even loads. I noticed PM BrawlEX builds like Legacy XP don't have this issue. Is it because the PM version of BrawlEX has more fixes since nobody seems to care about vBrawl players any more?

It also doesn't happen with some clones. Sonic clones work fine.

Is anyone experienced with module editing? I need some help. I'm trying to get Shadow from LXP to work in vBrawl. However the Chaos Spear doesn't move. Nothing we've tried works, anything that does change anything ends up making the spear crash the game. The LXP module fixes this but obviously it has its instabilities and its own issues since it's a PM module. Would anyone be able to help me find out how to apply LXP's module changes for Chaos Spear to a Brawl module?

To my understanding, the spear replaces the spring as a projectile, and LXP's edit forces the spring to move forward.

Not sure where this goes, if it's more of a PSA issue, a module one or something else. Moderators, please move this if I'm in the wrong place.

Some people told me PyotrLuzhin made the edit, although contacting him was fruitless as he's very busy these days. I tried reaching out to him and received no response after months, and I don't want to send anything else as I feel like it'd be a bother.

Seems to also happen with custom stages. Yeah, might as well not even modify this file.

I noticed not even Legacy XP or Project M tried. I would imagine it's like the Corps stock code (which the vBrawl version you sent worked BTW, thanks) and how it fixed an issue with the game not reading files. I might try to ask a few coders to see what can be done.

Alright, so I just finished adding Pat0 for my new characters and adding new images but it didn't work.
However, I can tell the file loaded because the textures I replaced (not added) show up.
So it doesn't let me add new character images, but I can edit anything already there. (When I say 'does not work', it just acts as if I never added the new Pat0)
