I love how you followed the concept art's sequence for changing it to Missile configuration.
Thanks. I'm kinda surprised that someone noticed. I went a ahead and added my own little touch with the barrel spinning since i thought just having it open was boring.
That animation is what i'm hoping to use for the FS animation.
I'll also want to have a small variation of this to use as the taunt.

The animation is too sexy. Great, now I need new pants. Last I checked, they're within the individual pac and pcs. Not entirely sure though.

yeah, they are, but they are also in the fitmotion so i'm confused as to where it pulls the animation from.

If it does get them from the pac/pcs files then I'll ditch Samus' old cannon in place of this one with it's own animations.

Does Samus use the animations in the fitmotion or the ones in her pac/pcs file for her arm cannon?

I hope it's the latter because I just finished editing and rigging the arm cannon.

That's not a bad idea, though I was thinking of having it as a scrolling level like the pirate ship if possible.

Since everything is lowpoly I can have the level decently sized.

Hmm...A Low Poly Hyrule Castle in the background maybe? Death Mountain?

Sounds good. I could probably also add some cows, (i think that's what they are?) grazing everywhere like the game.


Nice so far! You definitely need to put in the Tower of Spirits, if you haven't already. It's located in the center of Spirit Tracks's Hyrule and is the most significant location in the game.


Neat, won't forget to add that then.

I think i'm happy with this map. I was thinking it would loop in the middle of the forest, maybe passing the forest temple(if that's what it is).

Stopped working on the train to make the map. I haven't played Spirit tracks so i'm not sure if i should try adding anything else to the background or not.

The rig shown it incredibly sloppy. It was just to see how the shoulders looked after editing them to hell.
I just gotta edit a couple arts here and then, then I can actually start rigging everything for real.

I'm guessing he retained the Brawl cannon for the sake of any arm cannon animations (taunts, final smash) not getting f'd.
This is it. Plus it's how it looked in prime. I'll be making another version with the fusion cannon for those who want it though.

Of course it's after I spend hours ripping this model from prime that I remember why no one has done this yet.

I spent way to long fixing up this model after ripping it that i'm importing it even if it kills me.

Nah, it's fine. mechanical things I can do.


Model just needs some touch ups to make it animate better

Ah alright then. I wasn't too sure if there were any other shields or anything since I never played spirit tracks.

I decided to try my hand at texturing again. I made him a little more colorful/brighter along with some minor UV and model edits.
Here is a before and after


Better? Maybe some opinions?

What do you think so far besides not being completely accurate in terms of coloring, and no white outline (possibly yet)?


I immediately like it more than mine. mostly because I made mine without much knowledge of his design.
I am proud of how I got his rainbow shine to work though.

Started working on Ratchet's face. I used his head from Ratchet Deadlocked and edited it a bit. Should I use this new head or switch back to the old?

Alright I think T.O.M. ready now.


He looks much better than the lowpoly model before.
His hands might need a little more work, but that was the best I could do.
