This is for people who are having troubles with their info.pac that goes into their info2 folder or menu2 in pf and if you experience a never ending black screen after the now loading screen.
info.pac contains character bns (battle names), damage fonts, song names, menu messages, and other things that i may have missed that could be used for brawl hacking. in other words if you would like to know what else is in the info.pac then you would have to look into it yourself. I'm only covering the things to make info.pac work.

390kb is the file size limit for the info.pac any size over that will give you the never ending black screen after the now loading screen.

to use info.pac in your game, first you need brawlbox. a tool that helps with brawl hacking. once you have brawlbox downloaded, then you would want to use it. once its open, open up your info.pac that you've downloaded from the brawl vault  and go to MiscData[140]. those are song titles that show up at the beginning of the match. you can edit a song by going over and simply erasing and re-entering the song you want. now go to MiscData[160]. MiscData[160] contains online messages for when you play ssbb online. (if your file size is to big say like around 392kb, you can replace the online messages with just either .... or ? pretty much any thing will do. once you've done this, your info.pac size would have dropped around 1 to 2kb. it would be exactly 390kb. i don't recommend doing this method if you still play online.)
right click MiscData[140] and click export. you can put this file anywhere. i recommend putting it in a place that is easy to remember. now do the same thing with MiscData[160]. if you've edited your info.pac don't forget to save it.
once you've done all of that, use brawlbox again to open up your mu_menumain.pac
go to MiscData[7], right click and click replace. you are going to replace MiscData[7] with the MiscData[140] we just exported. now go to MiscData[9], right click and click replace. now you are going to replace MiscData[9] with the MiscData[160] we just exported. once all of that is done, save the mu_menumain.pac and close out brawlbox. put the mu_menumain into your rsbe/pfmenu2 (do this only if you use gecko or if you use a USB loader like me.) if you are a riivolution user then you would put your mu_menumain.pac into your rsbe/pf/menu2 folder. (also if you use riivolution, then make sure you add an _en at the end of your mu_menumain.pac so it would look like this mu_menumain_en.pac do the same for your info.pac so it would look like info_en.pac) once the mu_menumain is in its right directories, place your info.pac into your rsbe/pf/info2 folder if you don't have an info2 folder just make one.


Ok that's all you need to do to get your info.pac working and getting the freeze problem to stop.
