Alright so, i've had this problem ever since i started using GeckoOS, but it's pretty trivial, so, i haven't said anything of it up until now.
Whenever i start up Gecko OS and Brawl with Hacks enabled, compared to when i start up Brawl normally in the Wii Menu, i notice something happens. Everytime i start it up with Gecko OS, the screen gains these Big Black Bars on the sides of the screen. When i start up normal Brawl, it just has the entirety of the game take up my screen, no bars or anything.
This really bothers me because when i try to capture the footage and edit it, i have to zoom in the camera to not show the black bars and it hurts my overall quality because the pixels get blown up.
They're really huge Black Bars on the sides too, each one makes up about an inch of length on either side, and from what i've scoured from the internet, no one seems to know of a way to fix this or if there's a version of GeckoOS that fixes it. So, i was hoping you guys could help. If i could even just reduce the length of the bars by half, i'm sure the quality would improve drastically. Can anyone help me?
Post Merge: February 15, 2017, 02:29:23 PM ^^ Actually nevermind, i don't need help with this anymore, friend helped me.
But i do have this question i never figured out. Where do i go to find out how to use the Alloys in Brawl? I never found out what code or what to use to properly use them and such. Could anyone help me with that?

Excuse me, i'd really appreciate it if someone could help me on this. I'm on Step 3: Downloading and Using Brawl Hacks. I've gotten the File Patch and Unrestricted Camera codes downloaded onto my SD Card via the Code Manager, but i'm a bit confused here. On Step 3, it gives me the names for the Characters and Stages. Does the guide want me to make mini sub sections in my SD card's Private folder for all of these things? Just curious if i've got the right idea on this.
Also, another question, in Step 4, it gives me a Mediafire link for all of Brawl's Original Files, but when i try to look at those files, Mediafire says it's not my session and i can't access the files, even when i'm logged in and try to access those files. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE IS ANOTHER PLACE I COULD FIND THOSE FILES, PLEASE? : ( I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with these two questions.
One last question, since i'm using the Wii Mode on Wii U for Brawl hacking, do i need to worry about downgrading the Wii portion of my Wii U, or is that ok and not something that i have to worry about?

same as hacking the wii before the gameless hacks came out
2GB SD max must have brawl disc must use the stage builder thing (same [censored] project M launches through)
Got it, thanks for letting me know! I have one more question though, if you don't mind. I've heard that you need LOZ Twilight Princess in order to set up Homebrew, is this true?

Ok, so i'm a Noob at Brawl Hacks(big surprise, ), and i plan on doing a machinima in the future. Quick question though, i don't plan on getting a Wii, but i did hear that you could still do Brawl hacks and get Homebrew on a Wii U(well, to hack Wii games anyway). I'd like to know what are the main differences when it comes to the instructions in the Opening post if i decide to hack Brawl with a Wii U rather than a Wii? What would i have to do differently?
