1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project: Super Smash 4 - Cliché Q&A (11/14/2014) on: December 26, 2014, 07:06:58 PM
I haven't posted progress much at all, so I'll show you guys what I've gotten done. I'm taking a break from Yoshi for a litle while, (I know, it's taking a while, but it's my first big animation project.)  So, I wanna get some feedback on the Dr. Mario I'm working on.

I think it's good for the most part, but something just seems...off to me. What do you guys think?

Nice Dr. Mario! We need to use a different model than P:M's though, I heard Mariodk has a good one...

And if anyone wants to know where I've been, I've been doing stuff for Christmas and playing Smash Wii U. My Mario has a lot more progress than before, too.

And by what I've seen here, everyone's doing great!
ShadowLuigi~NG~, I love the Mii, Charizard and Captain Falcon!

As for the Pac-Man alt,
...Let me think about it. Tongue
Wow, cool captain falcon! But... where are the eyes?

BrawlBox renders are glitchy, that's all. Tongue
I'll be finishing up Mario if I have time.
Also, (if I have MORE time) I could work on some newcomers' animations and PSA!
If I do, I'll probably do Greninja.

P.S. I have Mario amiibo, on the 2nd day he's already level 34!  AWESOME 2.0!

Hi, my name is 1blitzer1, and I'd love to help with this project. I can texture characters, make alternate skins, and beta test. However, I need to know how to install this. Do I use riivolution, smashstack, or something else? Thanks, 1blitzer1.
"Something else". You just need a 2 GB SD Card and a Wii, put the hacks, codes, and Gecko on the 2 GB SD Card, delete all the stages on Brawl (or move them off of Brawl), put in the sd card and launch stage builder to load Gecko. There are plenty of tutorials here on how to set up SD cards and hack Brawl, so I recommend you to look at those. Wink
Welcome to the team!
I also added you to the Texturers list on the OP.

Awesome Face :af2:Hi my name is fruFruxx and i also will like to join this group. I can help with psa animations of newcomers, on making recolors, on csp or css, or something else... ? Thanks.. FRUfruxx
Sure, welcome! I added you to the animations list on the OP.

Okay, my previous Mario textures ended up pretty badly, so I'm trying again. He'll be done soon! Cheesy

I agree, except with the update of Mario, I feel each of them should have 10 costumes,
Mario: Red, White, Blue, Black, Yellow, Green, Brawl Blue, Ice, Flying Star, and Orange (like Luigi's).
Dr. Mario: White, Red, Green, Blue, Black, Yellow, Pink, Purple, Orange, and Cream.
Cheesy

...Just a suggestion, though.

I need to see them, I'll do that now. Smiley

I think I might be done, but I added a rimlight and I'm not sure if it's really there or not...

Oh, and also, I have a mac, and bin2jpg worked just fine

Okay, you got the belly color right, but I think he's just a bit too colorful.
Try desaturating his scales, horns, and face. And for the shell, the hue is right but the lightness should be a bit less. And his hair is fine. So, keep up the good work and effort! Wink

I saw their CSP tutorial, I mean the "touching up" that they do with Photoshop. And in the tutorial, they use BrawlBox. What's up with that?
6  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: BrawlEx Fighters! A new series. (Toon Link templates up!) on: November 09, 2014, 10:17:52 AM
Thanks! Each BrawlEx Fighter who isn't originally in brawl gets all the config files they need to work properly. And sometimes I make my own CSPs for them too.

Sure, I'm going to do all of them eventually. Who would you like?

Okay. I should also practice animating, and try finishing that Smash 3 GIMP tutorial I've been working on, I kind of...maybe....sort of...half got really really really in to Minecraft again... XD

I'll be working on the project again soon, maybe also rim-light my Mario. Wink

Yes, it truly is. Cheesy
Can't wait until it comes out!
Well, actually, I'm not getting it until Christmas...  Cry

I mean like your CSP Pose, and shadings.
So we can make our CSPs look fantastic, and match without using different shadings.

I don't think legality is a problem considering there is an ORAS May on the vault
That's not our concern (or, at least not my concern), but if we do illegal stuff that will ruin our reputation for this project. I don't want the project to be cancelled by the police, and I also don't want any trouble. That's also why I don't have the SSBB ISO, torrents upload it for someone else to download, and that's piracy. Police But this is important stuff, please understand.

And Izumo, IDK how to fix BrawlBox; Sorry...

Hi, since you guys are releasing source PSDs, can you release CSP source PSDs? Grin
13  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project: Super Smash 4 - Yoshi rolls into battle! (11/2/2014) on: November 07, 2014, 02:07:02 PM
Actually, he's over Mario.
And the hydrant can replace F.L.U.D.D.
But remember, we can't do anything with Pac-Man's model until it becomes legal. However, we CAN do things with Mario's boneset! Grin

P.S. Nice fire hydrant and nice Marvel reference.
14  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project: Super Smash 4 - Yoshi rolls into battle! (11/2/2014) on: November 07, 2014, 08:19:13 AM
hehehe indeed
I have pac-man's model
just gotta y'know
upload it

Please, don't upload it. It's illegal, and I know Tabuu wants to go to jail, but I'm not going to let anything illegal to go on in this project. Sorry. Besides, TheepicMVSL2 is making Pac-Man's model anyways. Ee may use it when the copyright "expires", but not right now.

And even if we did, we shouldn't release it yet. I have plans and schedules for this project, if anyone has questions about it, PM me.

Are these any better?

A little, but I think his scales should be yellow, not orange. Everything else is fine. Smiley
15  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project: Super Smash 4 - Yoshi rolls into battle! (11/2/2014) on: November 06, 2014, 04:18:26 PM
Okay guys, I've been gone for a while thinking about this project and decided something: No more claiming...
I mean, you can still say "I'll work on X", and then work on them, and don't claim like 7 characters, what if someone else wanted to work on them? Plus I'd much rather work as a team more on things like I said a while earlier, and it's getting out of hand; I was already working on Meta Knight anyways. (Sorry SAWNIK)
For opinions on Bowser, he could use some model work before doing textures. I say his scales are too orange, remember to reference Smash Wii U for textures, and you'll see it's a lot more rubbery and yellow than in Brawl. And for rim-lighters, I'm pretty sure most of us have seen your tutorial and can do it for our textures and custom models. Wink It's a great tutorial!

still when the wii u game comes out, someone WILL figure out how to rip the textures from the game, someone may not be able to rip the PSAs from the game. everything youve done up until know has been great, but honestly, there hasn't been much. idk if its even possible, but has anyone even tried ripping things from the .nds file?
Boobsey ripped the CSPs for us. Smiley
