1  Super Smash Bros. 4 Hacking / Help / Marth Cape texture glitch on: January 29, 2017, 04:56:43 PM
Hm, its been a long while since ive touched modding. But I figured hey lets check on old kcmm for smash 4 mod progress lol. Its good to see things moving along. Anywho, I'm having this cape issue that's really bothering me. Yes ive made sure they were properly compressed (Correct DTX setting) and the proper mipmaps were set. Any ideas anyone?

Footstooling is great tho :c.
I feel like rage is a fair mechanic. I play competitively. When it comes to it, its all just utilizing the mechanics properly. Glitches can begone. Don't know if this bit was useful at all...
I'm really curious how smash4 modding  will continue to develop.

I don't think so... I've mounted an SD card with screenshots and replays but neither showed on Dolphin. Unless there's a different way, I don't think it is possible

EDIT: Ah, I actually managed to figure out. It requires Winimage, which is a program used to edit sd.raw, which is the SD card read by Dolphin.

Locate the replay within the SD.raw file, right click, properties, and activate the "Archive" option. Voilá.

Would the SD.raw be located somewhere in Dolphin or on my wii?

Ok thanks this really helped xD!!! I got it now.

Does anyone know of a way to take the recordings of matches I played on my wii, transfer them onto dolphin and play them? Once I figure that out all I need is a screen recorder.

What file are you working with?

I used to play this a long time ago. Couldn't quite get used to the feel of it. Fun though.
I got curious and got my hands on a copy of the current minus marth.
I like the Shield breaker cancel. It allow for mix ups like B-Reversal SB cancel to grab.
I also like how you have to space the last few frames of his up b to get the strong hitbox.
Good balance with the changing his side b in the air getting rid of his Dancing blade 1 stall which boosts vertical recovery. If he had good vertical and horizontal recovery it wouldn't be balanced.
I didn't check if he still has his RCL lag

My apologies, this was my first time working with a tool like this. I'm currently helping with another project but this will be something I will try to work on when I get more progress done on SSBR. As KJP noted BB can do that copy and paste thing. So for now try using that method. Thanks all who have listed some things that need improvement. When I can I will start working on them.
