Hi, I have a problem with 2D models. They have way more bones then "normal blocks", and that's why I don't manage to make them appear in-game. Could you help me out please ? How do I make them work right ?
I personally like Mewtwo because he makes retro stages. I'm kinda of a fan of the nostalgic stages myself (N64 stages to be specific). Although I've never finished Ocarina of Time, I can tell that Ganon's Tower is gonna be a great stage.
Why do the N64 owns :
- Ocarina of Time - Majora's Mask - Perfect Dark - Jet Force Gemini - Goldeneye - Super Mario 64 - Star wars Ep I : pod racer - XG2 - SSB ... I could go on, but the list would be far to long...
Continue making retro stages like Segtendo said, because Retro >>> Actual gaming !!
Yes, I think there is a tree stamp (or something which looks like it) in the SB blocks, but I don't know how to get it... Besides, a friend recommanded me to resize it like the true forest Meadow, I'll post pics of it to have your opinion which one is better.
EDIT : Here is some new progress of the 'big' version.
I had to resize the area (it is far larger as you can see), because it would have been too easy to kill with the original size on the side.
Thanks to Mewtwo2000 who allowed me to use his medaillon pad model

I'm importing the models from Umbrella Chronicles. This is my 'to do' list of the stage : - Import all the models from UC - Fix eventual glitches - Resize the models - Import Lisa Trevor and make an animation for her to be in the background. - Fix the lighting (this will be really, really difficult to do.)
Next Projects :
- Jet Force Gemini Mizar's Palace - Water Temple (main room) - Gerudo Valley (bridge)
i have been researching stage modding and have gathered enough information to be able to make an animated stage on the theme of death mountain
i want to make a death mountain themed stage where the players will fight in areas around the mountain and eventually reach the top where i plan to make a volcanic explosion that does damage or whatever (but lets get everything else done first)
i was thinking of using a 3D model for the background like in battlefield and then translate the stage model in the z direction to move it towards a point on the model but i cant use twilight princess models because they are bmd and OoT is out of the question
anyone know if it is possible to find a model of the death mountain area in mdl0 format or even convert a bmd format (google wasnt helpful on this)
i have heard of HD versions of OoT anyone know if these are in .X or other standard file types which can somehow be converted to mdl0
I'm myself doing a Forest Meadow stage, so I can answer a few questions :
1) Fornow, it is impossible to create stage hitboxes (so you can't do a volcanic eruption which damages :s) 2) I think you can .obj import from OoT, but the best method is to use the Block builder method from Mewtwo2000. 3)For the HD OoT, these are just retextures which, IMHO, are pretty ugly.
You must be a member of Big N to be able to do such magnificient stages lol Truly, it is perfect ! Now, if you would do Mizar's Palace from jet Force Gemini, you would be my god
No I don't want it, but thanks ^^ But if you had the Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles mansion Hall model, it would interest me, because I searched in the ISO for a while and I didn't found anything >.<
Ganon's tower is looking epic... Although I'd prefer seeing the Hyrule Throne room from TP with the triforce on the statue of the 3 goddesses OMG Wind waker final battle would be my fav Ganon battle stage ever! I remember how awesome it was in WW fighting Ganon on top of his tower with water coming down and flooding Hyrule <3 Why are the Ganon fights always in such awesome places? XD
Also an awesome idea, but make the water which falls on the tower would be really complicated.
damn, just thouht about another version, make it like how it looked in the beginning from that video, but without ganondorf, it would be awesome to fight ganon there...
