aight cool, cant wait for it then! so wat games does that program work for anyways?
Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and possibly Mario Sunshine. And really, It's 3 programs. 2 to get it into a format the third can read, and then export to a 3ds file.
this is [censored]ing awsome! cant wait for it!how could i forgot about phantom ganon xD hey whne its done you give me permision to make recolors of him?
Sure, but he's far from done, mind you. BTW, I obtained the model from the game itself. The ripping process is pretty easy.
Inspired by a tradition in an old game forum's art section, I thought for Christmas we brawl hackers could have a hack-trading secret santa sort of thing.
How it works:
If you sign up, your name will be put on the participants list in this thread, along with the rest of the stuff in the sign up form. On November 15th, this thread will be locked, and you will be PMed the username of the person you'll make a hack for. You then create a hack for them, and post it in a thread that will be opened on Christmas morning.

Yay for the Bob-Omb buddy! He looks adorable on his little platform. I'm assuming he animates too? As in he sort of does his little march in place? And is that a Red Ring I see atop that tree on the right in that first screenshot? That's also a very nice touch.
My only minor complaint at the moment would be that the texture on the middle spine of the trees came out a little odd. Considering the rest of the tree looks beautiful, it kinda looks a little odd. Maybe it's just the angle and I'm going crazy.
So far, however, I think this is the best stage you've ever made. It simply looks incredible.
Red Ring? Someone's been playing a lot of sonic colors, I see.
He did it in 3DS max, not Brawl. It's just using standard mo-cap stuff. Nothing fancy.
Also, he DID "reveal his technique" because he's a Smashboards member and he posted about it in the Customised Content board as he was making it. It was for a university project, if I recall correctly.
In terms of how it can help us, we have to crack Brawl's animation format first before we can even think about that.
We know brawl's animation format, which is why we can fully edit it.
