14. dont forget the animations for all those Subactions!

Also, Note this! Crawl and Multi Jump can be used right away, but Glide needs little work! you need to do something that makes it use their IDs!
Glide need to use the Start Glide ID "132" (0x84 in hex)
dont know the best way to do this

15. the last thing, we need to change their IC to make them being able to do it!
this Method is using BrawlEx's FighterConfig.dat

if you added Crawl, set "hasCrawl" to true
if you added Glide, set "hasGlide" to true
if you added MultiJump, set "AirJumpCount" to "2" (yes 2! not how many jumps it has)

And thats it! now you have Crawl, Glide and/or Multijump character! Have fun with it!  Kirby Dance


For the Start Glide ID where do I put the 0x84??

What do I do with the Fighter00.dat file that you get after making 'hasGlide" to true in BrawlEx's FighterConfig.dat?

Also for the Glide animations, do I just import the CHR0 files of Pit into my character's FitIkeMotionEtc.pac file?

yeah, but you would probably have to do a lot re-rigging, so it's fairly pointless to not just restart the rigging from scratch; for example, in a lot of games, each finger uses 3 bones, but Brawl only uses 2

So is there really a way to auto perfect fit a model (that's not from Brawl) to a brawl character's bone??

I was somehow able to perfect auto fit Brawl Snake's model into Brawl Ike's bones. I don't remember exactly how but this guide prob had a lot to do with it.

Is there a way to charge smash attacks with c-stick like in Smash 4 for Brawl?


Also is there a way to shield with soft/mid press of the L & R shoulder buttons so I can use this wavedash code without having to fully click press?

How do you rig the faces? I model imported brawl Snake's body to brawl Ike but I kept all of Ike's faces. Unfortunately it seems I have to re rig them all...

even easier than that; in BrawlBox, expand the MDL0, expand the Bones list, right-click the TransN bone, and "Add to Next Up"; then scale the bone that is now its parent; for most characters, this is the EyeYellowM bone; you may also have to rename the parent bone(AKA the EyeYellowM bone, usually), but tbh I don't remember; it's been a while since I've done one-slot resizing

Don't scale it in Max, because the scaling is either via one-slot resize, like I just said ^, or it'll be through the animations; so make sure you do it through BrawlBox, like above

Thank you very much!! You actually rename the EyeYellowM bone, move it right on top of the TransN bone and click add next up on TrasN. Then scale the renamed EyeYellowM bone. You shrink back to normal size if you get grab thrown and the character is misaligned when grabbing the ledge.

Is it as easy as just using scale on 3ds max? Or it doesn't work like that?

It didn't work. The sword still lights up. The texture of the blade turn dark tho

How do I get rid of Ike's sword lighting up when you throw out an attack? I'm not talking about the light trails but the actual blade itself lighting up.
