I always wondered what happened to that You gotta click the button. You can't use the keyboard shortcut cuz it won't work.
What button? Anyways I'm coding that old undo/redo feature that I'll never use. BJ worked a bit on it but left glitches here and there, so I'll see what I can do about fixing it up.
By the way: rotate a bone manually, then press escape before letting go of the mouse click. It's a temporary undo feature.
The saving problem told in earlier posts already happened with the previous betas at some times. It's not new, and don't remember the cause, but I suppose it was due to brawlbox changing something not supposed to be changed, or trying to save something that's already in use by some other program. Not sure though, but I'm sure it's not always happening, nor important enough to care about.
Some fix I would suggest would be related to the previewer. If you don't expand the model, nor have previewed it previously, you get a previewing error. So, just force it to update the memory or whatever everytime you click on preview, just before the previewing itself.
Not a big deal though, it doesn't crash or anything, it's only a little annoying.
Ditto.
And BJ, why was your old undo/redo saving coded separately for manual rotations and keyframe changes? Half of the problems arise from that.
Anywhere you want, I suppose. Although I should probably render the shading on another character, my custom models don't have proper normals for showing off this effect...
i dont think thats how it works since if there is a battle of four snakes only one snake pac file will be loaded on the wii since they share the same fitsnake.pac i dont think brawl developers would make the wii charge 4 files exactly equal
That's a good point.... I'll rephrase: Some character have higher file size limits than others, and if 4 separate characters have filesize limits over 20 (random number) then what harm is there in letting other characters having bigger filesize limits?
By the way BJ, I've had that error too. It mostly happens when a file is still being used in another program or Brawlbox, or if I marked the file for read-only. It's an error outside of Brawlbox, it correlates to the actual file and where it's being used.
Lolk. Have you finished a better method of undo and redo yet? That was your only task so far.
Depends if you only wanted undo/redo in the model previewer or in the normal file tree view as well.
I liked my method of performing the undo when the redo is created, so rather than saving the whole scene state, it would generate the opposite of what was done. Lots of editing here and there, I think it'll have to be moved over to your new source code.
ppl removing filesize limits might not be a good thing since character have these limits becuase wii cant handle all that info at the same time thats why the game freezes , imagine giving every character 1 mb of filesize if 4 characters were in play that would be 4 mb of filesize for pac files alone i bet the wii would either start overheating or freeze even if the limit is lifted ppl seem to forget wii isnt that great of a consol concerning its limitations :S
Here's what I think about filesizes: Let's say Snake has the largest filesize, and Yoshi has the least. If the game doesn't lag or freeze with 4 Snakes, then why should it freeze with 4 Yoshis with the same filesize?
Also, I already know C#... Sign me up for your team lol
Well I guess I'll get started from scratch with main character #1 now that I'm back. Hopefully can keep myself from making any of these too gimmicky.
I know, we should watch each other animate using those fancy video share website. That sounds pretty fun, might convince me to keep animating for more than 5 minutes
Sounds like a torrent-related answer to me... Freeware is an old version, newest demo is limited, and torrents are virus-packed and ACTA is totally watching me download them. Option A, B, or C....
IDA. Looks like something that would run while I play Dolphin-emulated Brawl. Any version nominations BlackJax? I don't know if you kept up with the program since your Halo 3 days.
