^ Personally I didn't download it yet.  Reason being is just simply the state the it's in.  Since I know that it's barely finished yet, I decided to wait until a later release where most (if not all) the attacks are done.  Don't take it personally.  In fact, I've only ever downloaded one model import so it's largely just me.

But its good that you're continuing.  I wish you luck Wink
I know that he was in a very early stage, but the reason I released him in such an early stage was I'm working by myself, brand new to brawl modding, never done anythign else before, and I've ran out of ideas for attacks and what not.  I needed some more ideas, and I wasn't getting any.  Yeah I came up with more watching some more dragonball Z but still.  Thank you for the support though still.

Me too, i prefer wait a another version and.. it's over Mario...

What's wrong with it being over Mario?

I'm really disappointed in the amount of feedback I got.  I only got ONE person to leave feedback out of the 60 people who downloaded it since it's release.  All I'm doing is trying to help the Brawl community out, apparently you people don't want a new character that bad.  I'm going to continue my project again, my break is done.  I'm only continuing because I want to be able to say I did it though, and for the one guy who gave me feedback, thanks again Fliptocat

With that out of the way, I have some new interesting ideas I plan to try to incorporate in Krillin.  I know it's his dragonball "Kid Krillin" model, but I want to incorporate as much of Krillin from all of db/z/gt into him.  So during the last 2 weeks I've been watching some Dragonball Z as well to try and help with this.

I'll edit this post with feedback.

Okay then, here we go.....
Walking animations: Mid and Fast are too fast, and slow doesn't move at all.
AAA: Good, effective moves.
Side Smash: It's alright, but it doesn't have the whole pole's range, it stops midway. Also maybe change the sound effect and the flag.
Side tilt: Make the power pole disappear and it's fine.
Up smash: It's alright, but he teleports forward a t
ad too far. Also make the power pole disappear.
Down Smash: Maybe increase the range a tad.
Crouching: Make the power pole disappear.
D-Air: Change the SFX and edit the collisions, it hits too many times.
Rest of the aerials are fine.
Also note that he sometimes freezes, like when I grabbed the ledge a couple times in a row.
Pretty good for your first beta. ^_^




Thank you for your feedback, I knew I forgot to try and fix something before releasing the beta, I wanted to figure out the ledge thing, his animation shows him grabbing onto the ledge way too high and it freezes at times, I couldn't figure out how to do that.

The feedback is greatly appreciated though.  I will take this all into account.  The powerpole is not supposed to be there at all, those moves I forgot to remove when I was testing out Mastaklo's Kid Goku animations with Krillin see how compatible they were (Back when I was first just experimenting)  Anything to do with the Powerpole will be removed in the final product.

Come on, I've had 22 downloads of Krillin, and only 1 person post feedback so far... Sad  I want to improve him and give brawl a good character, but I can't without feedback

Well that update I planned to release today will not be released, I'm having difficulties with it.  So I'm going to put the surprise on hold and continue working on the actual character Krillin, and release his surprise later.

Yes, Kid Goku AND Krillin.  Krillin first though, to maybe try to spark up the old Kid Goku project to be continued, that'd be awesome.

Depending how this project turns out, and how popular it is, I might take up and make my own version of Kid Goku.  I'm not sure though, I have other ideas for future hacks to make.  I should have a small update sometime today to go along with Krillin.

Hello,

I was curious as to what all is possible for Item modding. I know you can vertex and texture edit items. Example: Someone Vertexed a Keyblade out of a few different swords and so on so forth. Now my true question is, are you able to edit the attributes or an item?

For Example, what I WANT to do, is edit the Power-Star into the Sacred Jewel of four-souls from the Anime InuYasha. What I want though, is instead of the character glowing and changing colors and sparkling and playing the mario music, I want to make it so they have a cool like purple glow to them with some sort of different music (which I have not decided on yet) My question is though, is this possible?

I'm fairly certain people pay attention to this. They just have nothing to really contribute, unless you're asking for compliments and stuff.

But you don't seem like that.

I have been paying attention to this, I'm trying to understand what's been posted so far to see if there is anything I can look for and contribute, It's just taking a while to understand all this.  I will do anything to help once I understand everything.

u cannot edit(painting wise) only replace sub gfx with other ones.  Tcll is working on a viewer and when hes done i might(if possible and if tcll doesnt want to lol) create an editor.

That'd be awesome, because I have been trying to figure out ways to make gfx for Krillin.

Now, so then from my understanding of this editor you have released for gfx, if I replaced all the sub gfx in the one main one, the main one would be 100% edited then right?  Nothing from the original gfx would be there? 

Example:

PtcMarioFireballBound  is a Ptc graphic inside the MiscData[1] File with 2 sub gfx, named "FireballBoundFire" and "FireballBoundTsubu".  If I replaced both of those sub gfx, would PtcMarioFireballBound look the same at all on game or would it be completely changed?

I really like you're Shadow PSA, I was using Mastaklo's shadow, and as with a lot of people, I just really was not much of a fan of the PSA.  I feel you're Shadow captures who shadow is A LOT better, especially with the spawn an item, where he gets his guns like from Shadow the Hedgehog the game. 

I'm trying out your Viewtiful Joe later tonight as well.  I've never played a game with him in it or rarely even heard of him, but I watched the videos for him and liked the way he played so I'm going to try him out:)

This is good to see!  It's nice to see someone with a bit of ambition and originality for once (note like loads of other people for there first hack who just do some bad retexture of something that's already in the vault).

Krillin is one of my favourite DBZ characters as well, so I wish you the best of luck with this Smiley
Thank you, I really appreciate the support!  I thought about doing the whole retexture someone as my first project, but I decided I didn't want to waste my time on something that won't really contribute much to brawl.  I wanted a brand new original character to brawl.  Seeing that the Kid Goku project had already been started, but has since died (At least I haven't seen any progress)  I wanted Krilllin, whom is also my favorite character from the db/z/gt series.

Being such a Krillin fan, you are more than welcome to help with PSA and custom animations if you'd like Tongue Smiley haha

Well, I figured out I learn pretty quickly, the only thing I will have true problems with is PSA work.  I have been working on this project for quite some time as seen by the update section in my posts.  I've learned the essentials for animation and have made a few custom animations myself.  They're probably not the smoothest of animations, but I feel that if people see how much work I'm actually putting into this they might be willing to give me a hand and maybe help smooth some of the animations out and work with me on this project.
