I just fixed more than 60 brres files with more than two mdl0s in them in under a minute. Your program is a flipping lifesaver!!!

can I have an alpha version?
I seriously want to try and replace Ikes second sword with a sword from TOS2 ^+^

I also want to see if the character porting thing I mentioned will work.
That is, converting a mdl0 into dae with ais, then using the dae importer to replace the model of someone else with said character.

Wait just a little bit longer. You're just gonna be sadface when it throws an error right now

As of now, I've only gotten a model that was an mdl0 beforehand to work. I'll send it to you guys but you'll most likely have errors.

BlackJax, can you please, right now, try to export Mewtwo2000's block to DAE, add a working bone, and re-export it into mdl0, as a test?

It'll be a movable block, test complete XD
I don't really have enough time to do that, I'm pretty busy...

If you guys want to test stuff, I can release an alpha version of my mod, but it doesn't work perfectly.

Trust me, it's not going to be as easy as you guys think to import a dae model. Daes can be made differently based on the model, so BrawlBox has to support every little twist and turn the dae can have. I still haven't gotten an actual rigged non-pre-mdl0 into Brawlbox. While it may be easier to make stages with this, many people will not have the right skills to fix every little problem the model might have.

I highly doubt some random person with no experience could just rip something like Peach's Castle from Melee, fix it, import it and then fix every little glitch and then even then, recreate all the effects the stage has...

Importing a model will still take a lot of work. People won't just be importing stages/characters left and right.

I see that the answer is completely clear... But having a single bone means that you have to "import" a brawl bone structure to have animations... It's the counterpart if I understand well...

Oh well if you want to use the obj as a character, then you have to rig the whole model.
You'd only need a single bone if you wanted to use it in a stage.

Someone, correct if I'm wrong, but was it not said before that obj models can't be converted to mdl0 because they don't use any bone? I may be wrong, maybe I didn't understood, but still I want to know... Because if I'm wrong (which I hope) there are some obj models that I'm sure will please some people here, and they will be probably numerous.

It'd take less than a few minutes to rig an obj model to a single bone and export it as dae.
