And this tutorial is really confusing me.

One of the first paragraphs is written in kind of a confusing way...

"You'll need to first decide on which boss you are going to use. Then just start replacing that boss's sound effects with the ones from the hacked character's sfx. Simply open a smash bros brsar in super sawndz and insert the sawnd file for the character's sfx that you are going to use. Then open that same brsar file in BrawlBox 0.71 and export all the wave files from the sounds you replaced for that character. Then close BrawlBox. Go back to Super Sawndz and replace all of the boss character's sounds with the wave files you exported. MAKE SURE you pay CLOSE attention to the length of your sound file and the length of the previous boss wave file. If you have a wave file that is say, 2:36, do NOT put it over a boss wave that is 1:34! The boss wave file has to be either the same amount of time or longer than the one your are going to replace it with. If you put a long clip on a short boss clip it will exceed the file size."

What does this mean?? I have to replace all sounds of the boss with character sounds and then ??? I don't have a sawnd file for the character's sfx im going to use because I haven't made it.  and it says to export all the wavs and then replace them again for no reason...? I'm kind of lost here, can someone help me with what im supposed to be doing..??



Okay so I kind of figured it out and in PSA I replaced all of the voice SFX I could, but there are a ton of voice sfxs missing for the clone in-game. The clone is Rosalina over peach and I have her voice over Meta Ridley and I've got some of the voices working in-game but a lot of them are missing from the PSA ?? What do I do? The PSA appears not to have her hurt sounds or ko sounds or a lot of her attack sounds...

I would post this in the clone engine thread but i don't want to bump it. seems like a lose-lose kind of situation.

I've been trying to get this thing working for forever now. I've gotten the farthest I've ever gotten yet because before, it usually wouldn't even load the CSS. But now...

I've added two clones into the game, Lucina (over Marth) and Yuna (over zelda). They both work, their CSP's and such all show up in-game so I've got that part down. They also load up their costumes but then they crash when the match ends. so there's something wrong with the way i've set up results but i don't know what. I've been trying to find out what's wrong but i can't. It's really getting to be a headache for me.

I'll upload the files for them and perhaps someone could take a look at it and see what I did wrong?

Yuna takes up slot 41 and has cosmetic slot 110, while Lucina takes up slot 42 and has cosmetic slot 111. Lucina uses the default fire emblem icon and Yuna uses a custom FFX Franchise icon, which takes up the franchise icon slot 21..

Also is there an easy way to disable Yuna's down-b?? i don't want her to transform. It freezes the game anyway.

3  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Project Libra - Recolors/Reskins - June 1 - S3 Sheik on: May 30, 2015, 09:29:36 PM
This is a recolor/reskin project with the goal of making many recolors of stages, characters, and maybe even more. These reskins will consist of being mostly red and teal/cyan. Each character will come with a CSP, BP, and stock icon at least.

Right now I need:
-People that are bored/interested enough to help texture
-Someone to make a banner template that looks better than the current one

this is what the current banner template is, it's not that great. The font used is a bolded "Ferrum Extra-condensed" Character render goes in red box and previews go in the teal one, the name of it and libra symbol in the little black area.

Alright so I'll try to explain my problem in the best way possible. I'm pretty familiar with SSBB Hacking but something's been happening that's really annoying me lately.
I'm using Project M 3.5.
I can use sawnd files downloaded from the vault or sawnd files that I created in the past. The thing is, when I try to make a new one, it causes the game to crash. I don't know why. I had a SFX hack that I made but it was too quiet in game so yesterday I took all of the WAVs and made them louder and underwent the tedious task of re-inserting them into the brsar. However, when I make the sawnd file for it and place it in the appropriate folder, it causes the game to crash.

Another thing: I made an announcer call WAV but when I insert this into the brsar and make a 223.sawnd, it also crashes the game. And when I insert the 223.sawnd that I made back into the brsar, the WAV that I made isn't even there. It's just the regular "ZELDA!" Character call instead of "YUNA!"...

It crashes on the strap menu with a really loud buzzing noise. Really annoying. Pleaaase help me.

In brawlbox, whenever I try to preview a model, it's just a white screen with the menus on the side. I try to zoom out but it doesn't show anything. Yes, I have .Net 4.0 and my brawlbox is v0.66b.
