1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Giry's models ~ More Woolly Stuff on: August 16, 2014, 03:12:02 AM
I kinda started making models  a few months ago... well "making". All I did was taking existing model parts, mostly from Brawl, and rearrange them to make something that remotely looks like whatever I wanted to do. But it was fun, so I continued. My first model was Lip... who I'd rather not show, haha. Old shame and all that. But no one cares about that so without further ado, here it goes.

Also before I forget, I suck at making textures and I can't rig, all I can do is making those models. It sucks, but ah well...

2  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Witch hat Jigglypuff (new project: Konata, deciding on weapon) on: December 12, 2010, 11:40:47 AM
Finally I'm able to do more than just textures. I started vertex editing. Obviously I'm not very good, I just started, but I hope to improve over time. Well, no one cares about boring introductions anyway, so I'll just skip this.

Witch hat Jigglypuff:

My first vertex edit. It helped me to get used to 3DS Max. At this point, I tried to come up with something more I could say about this. Unfortunately, I couldn't.

My next project is on Mario. I don't know when it'll be finished and maybe I'll revamp my Dededoo after I'm done with Mario. This post is still so empty.
3  Help & Tutorials / Help / Loading items through PSA on: December 12, 2010, 10:22:03 AM
Is it possible to load an item through PSA, but without using it? For example, let's say I want to have the Star Rod always attached to Jigglypuff, but I don't want her to use it. I only want to have the model in her hand.
I've never used PSA before and couldn't find an answer.
4  Help & Tutorials / Help / Need help with model importing on: December 09, 2010, 03:17:38 PM
I recently got back into Brawl and now I'm trying to replace Jigglypuff's green hat with another model, but I'm having some problems.

The first problem is, that the hat is just lying around in the middle of the stage and isn't connected to Jigglypuff. I used the bone adding tool to up the amount of bones to five (the original model only had one) and named the bones the same as Jigglypuff's hat bones (TopN, AttachN, CapJa, ...) . Before someone asks, the model that I'm trying to insert was already a mdl0 file.

My second problem is, that the colors are acting wierd. The original texture of the model had a palette, but whenever I try to import it, the game freezes. I made two versions, one where I set the palette data in BrawlBox to true and one where I set it to false.
The model with the palette date set to true flashes in random colors:

The other model stays red the whole time:

How can I fix these problems? Help is much appreciated.
