Does the update fix the problem with mdl0's? It would be nice to be able to convert them to .obj with out going through 3ds max. Don't want to pressure you though since what you want to do with it is up to you. Edit2: Removed edit 1
if that doesn't work, I'm deleting it and re-uploading Post Merge: September 11, 2012, 03:22:11 PMheh heh... Looks like it worked
If anyone has any unexpected bugs, please let me know
UMC`s error handler currently skips the import if an error is detected...
Advanced users: You can check the `session-info.log` for info reguarding file conversion up to the point of error.
I`ll try to make Dev4 log the error to the best of what I can... But there`s alot of change that will take place starting with the file system. (yes I`m changing it again)
This looks great!!! I feel bad for not commenting about your progress, but know that I really appreciate everyone that makes things that make our lives easier. As for the model viewing do what seems most effective and good looking. Thanks again for this. And I might look at scripting, it looks hard though. Edit: Uhhhh the download isn't there.
I'm still somewhat new to programming and looking at code, but I want to help as to make a contribution to the community. Is there anything I can do to help?
Wait a minute, what if you want to make the edited .rel? I mean you said one that was already ported, so that means that you need to port a ported character? If so how can you make the first port? Does that make sense?
So if I make sure I have the newer version of bb, then I don't need one of the 3d max plugins?
No, you'll still need a way to import .dae files. Max 2010 has the right .dae importer already. When you extract the mdl0 from the .pac file bb will default save it as .mdl0, so change the dropdown box under the file name changer to .dae.
Actually... Yeah I know ASM.. wrote many of C2 codes. Maybe I can help a little bit?
That you Deathwolf? I mean from wiiRD forums. Edit: I contacted dcx2 and he hasn't replied yet, but he may be be able to do it. If Deathwolf is who I think he is he can be useful also.
He used to help me make codes using the USB Gecko, some codes required altering some assembly(ASM) and he showed me how to do it. He may or may not be still active haven't been to the wiiRD forums in a while
Alright my head just started spinning, we now know how a lot of the .rel file works right? But we don't have enough to make stage effects, like as stated a rolling rock? Or am I WAY off.
