Sticking his claw in the ground would kinda limit him on turning...

Keep in mind thought that the model has retractable claws. So I COULD give him a move like that though. it just doesn't seem very Wolverine like.

Not sure we're on the same page, so forgive me if this doesn' tmake 100% sense, but here goes:

1: I want Spider-Man to shoot a web forward. (once we get forward working, its a simple process to create angles and psa it to be aim-able)

2: The person struck by the web would be stunned. (I'm fine with them not being stunned long enough for Spider-Man to 100% do something to them. Its more for approaching then anything. Think of it as... Spider-Man's version of Sonic's homing attack.

3: Its a toss up as to if he automatically attacks, or its left up to the player to decide what he does. Meaning that since this is a special, I'd have him be treated as 'in-air' so that once you reached a person, you could do an aerial attack OR if you did it on the ground, you could just fast fall (like 1 or 2 frames) then grab the person to do something to them.) But thats where the stun effect is for balance... I don't want it to be 100%. Gotta give the target a chance to move at least...

4: I don't know how to deal with the distance thing BUT, I spoke with the lead PSAer for Brawl Minus and he said that this was similar to Bowser's Royal Rampage. So if you're decent at PSAing, then perhaps you could figure it out from there.

5: The move itself is not set in stone if its the air neutral or ground neutral or both. I just have a concept of what I want. So however way we can get it to work that resembles the concept the most, I'm fine with.

6: The momentum thing sounds like a good option... It could probably work if I had the web line have an offensive collission that stunned them. An if statement that said if it connected, to change subaction. The sub action would be the new animation of Spider-Man pulling himself forward, and have in THAT sub action, an allow interrupt (or specific interrupt) after the first few frames. The stun effect could possibly last longer if he charges the web? Not sure how that works exactly.

If you wanna discus this in a more convenient way, we can talk over skype. I'm here all day.

What about if it hits someone before the ThrowN bone has gone as far as it is intended?

For example:

The throwN bone is supposed to go a distance of 60

But Marth is at 30 between spiderman and the maximum distance of the throwN bone.

What happens?

1: Twist... Sweep... kick? Wut?

2: Kagemaru's model hasn't been created yet. But its next on the list.

3: Kagemaru could use (on that Naruto site) most normal jutsu (Body Switch, transformatiion, and several different clone jutsu) his favorite jutsu was Flock of Shadows (the jutsu Itachi does when he turns into birds and flys away. On that site, it was a dodging move.) But mostly focuses on Taijutsu. He was a Hyuuga, so everything Neji could do and then some, as well as a multitude of Shadow based jutsu. One jutsu was the ability to materialize YOUR shadow and beat the crap out of it so that you feel the pain. Those things, he can still do outside of that site, I just wont call them 'jutsu' or w/e since he may or may not be an actual ninja in what we're creating.

Our first project is a fight scene between Kagemaru and another character named Gritten. Gritten is a cyborg of sorts... mechanical right arm, and his legs from the knees down are mechanical. The two are going to fight it out for some reason. I'm writing the script at the moment.

The finished product will be a fully animated fight scene with the two of them.

Well, its not actually a grab.

He's not grabbing the person, he's just going towards the person that the web hit.

Like... shoot out the string, if the offensive collision hits someone, it stuns them, and then Spider-man moves towards that direction. But the stun thing isn't due to being thrown tradditionally... its more like being hit with ZSamus's gun.

Don't wanna de-rail your topic Cali, so I'll spoiler this:
This is one variant of Kagemaru (my OC) he wears a blindfold due to having eyes similar to the Byakugan (he can literally see everything in a 360degree radius around him in every direction.) BUT he can't turn it off... (so he gets headaches sometimes due to sensory overload from time to time)

This particular variant is a Naruto OC. His eyes actually are an evolved form of the Byakugan. (I RP'd on a Naruto site for almost 5 years. The evolved Byakugan was an actual thing in the system dubbed Hakumei Byakugan) Though in the comic me and a friend were making, he's a mercinary trained by some organization but went AWOL cause he got bored.


His backstory isn't quite solidified yet due to toying with different things he'd be in and working with different people (With one friend we were gonna make a comic set in a certain time period, and with another friend, we're gonna make a 3D animated show set in a totally different time period/universe. So his backstory would have to mesh with whatever the main universe's story is.

So for now, the only thing solidified are his abilities. How he got them, or why he has them isn't set in stone yet.

Though, once his model (it'll look 100% different from that picture, but will still have dreadlocks) is complete, I'll be working with my model guy to create a fight scene for our youtube channel)

Cali, you think you can help me come up with some ideas for Wolverine's down smash?

Well, the animation is relatively simple. So its would probably take me only about 20-30 minutes depending on my mood. But I"m lazy, so you've got until I finish the head issue to do that animation.

Also, I don't have any 1 specific model person. I just call in favors a lot and help people when I can so they'll be willing to help me when they need it. I'm willing to animate (since its about the only thing I can do decently, aside from PSA) for anyone who can help me.

I have a dae of Nightcrawler. But I think I'll let THAT model be the first model I learn how to Rig with... cause I need to learn how to model rig as well as create my own models.

Its pretty cool. I'm not a big fan of Sonic OCs, but I have own OC. Was actually thinking of making him a brawl character but what he can do isn't exactly... Brawl possible. A short explanation of what he can do would be.... Shikamaru from Naruto (usage of shadows) combined with the combat style of Spider-Man fused with Ryu Hyabusa.
