Anyway, if you have been following the MDL0 Resource thread then you would know that I made an OBJ to MDL0 vertex hack program. You edit the verts, export the file as OBJ and run the program and it spits out a an MDL0 file. The program is still based off of AiS's exports so some models don't work because AiS doesn't always export all of the objects.

It isn't released yet.

Ok, listen.  This won't happen.

Nobody wants to make this, nobody would actually use it, and it would be a pointless waste of time for both the person making it and the person trying to use it.  Really? a MLD0 viewer? take a picture if you want to show people so bad.  Even if you could edit animations with it, that'd be ridiculous to do on such a small screen.  Nobody is going to make this for you, but if you'd like to try, go right ahead.

^This, exactly this. And by the time this'd happen, SSB4 will be out. lol

Does anyone know if SSB4 rly IS going to come out?

Well seeing the success of SSBB there is no point in not making it.

I was playing around with the BrawlBox and made a few quick animations for Little Mac so that he could be tested in game.

That file has his model, texture and the animations I made (ignore the wait and turn, that was his originally).

Also, the animation named "BASE" was a quick run test I made to try to make him work in game with his AAA combo.

I'm working on getting some .gif's of the animations up.

Conform Wrap is just a script he has. Google "3ds max conform wrap", I found it in a couple of seconds.

MotionEtc files have articles IIRC, you just put it in the same folder as your costume .pac/.pcs files.

Thank you for your comments. Positive or negative. Because from reading your comments, I have gained knowledge.

Vile, I have two 3d model viewers for my android phone. I could send them to you and you could fidlle with them to see how they work. And the app don't have to be on the market, it could just be something you could download from here at Brawl Vault.


Thing is I have to pay $2000 to get the license to the program BUILD it, publishing it is free AND I know how model viewers work, I wouldn't have posted here if I didn't.

Wait, you have 2 model viewers already? Export the MDL0 files to .dae, open them and save them as a compatible model format... no point in making a whole new model viewer just for yourself.

Im just going to do this on my own. Since no one want to help..


I offered help, but I was being realistic. Why such a big hassle just to show a few people some 3d models on your phone? Just show them on your computer.

I don't think the models would run to greatly (or at all) on any phone other than an iphone (or ipod touch).

Also, would be annoying as hell to script if you didn't already use a base that can render 3d models.

I would be able to script something small in unity to run on iphone (similar to the BrawlBox model previewer), but wouldn't be able to publish it for iphone unless i get a $2000 donation for a license.
