I dont know much about rel file's but i do know this .rel's files are like scripts telling the game to load your model stage to load instead of the hard coded stage [If it is hard coded]. So basic's its just telling the game to use an adress on your sd card to a certain stage that it was made for.

This seem's of a rather simple "trial and error" to me.Ok try this just delete your brawl + folder's. Side note not the app folder at the root of the sd card  because if you deleted your brawl + app it wont show in homebrew channel.  Then plug it into the wii and click brawl + in the homebrew channel and press update and if that doesnt work then try deleteing brawl + completely because from personal exp i cant load my hacks + its hacks. It will ask do you want to replace this file and if i  say no then it wont update lol and there's a whole new ver of it.
Its's called brawl - idk why they called it that and i know nothing about it really.

It seems your messing with the texture/model files? Correct me if im wrong but trying moding the animitaion if u havent aready and if you have then tell me what you did because it might be that the hit coll 's or hit boxs for those falling blocks might still be there because you did say that you made them not visible right?

Wait why did you reinstall every thing on your computer. If you have a sd card and an sd card reader you can just do brawl hacking from there and the sd card has two be reformated to "FAT32". Make sure you use "Phantom Wings" File replacement code if your useing the SD card method. You might want to try NeoGamma v R8 its a way better back up luncher that will load your copy of brawl and if you do this then plz note that in order for this to work you need your brawl iso file on a (DVD -R) disk that should be 7.8 giga bytes and if you have a modded wii a.k.a mod chip in your wii then make sure you installed it right and if your not sure then scan it with your computer and reinstall the files in it (dont know much about mod chips)
For your USB loader check your settings on it if you did not save your setting then thats your problem although i know almost nothing about USB loader's but if you can connect it to your computer then check the settings to see if you saved them also try reinstalling or updateing the files on your USB loader
