?!? Sounds like you have moar issues than what GF can do.

First of all, use this code and start up Brawl and see if Luigi's Mansion works better.

Certain codes do cause 1-player modes to freeze.

CSS, SSS, and stage roster expansion codes can cause the game to freeze when entering Classic and All-Star.

Despite my codeset, SSE works fine, even with Gray Fox.

What codeset do you use???
Something else may have corrupted the game somehow, or your save data.

Use Tabuu. It finds and seperates the stages for Classic and All-star, which is what I adapted the guide to use.

There is no article, you have to google it, or cleverly use Dop-Mii, the version before the Wiibrew version.

Be careful using it.

I'm serious.

Dop-Mii also saved me from my Semi-Brick, and I also restored my ability to use Gamecube AR, Riivolution, and Gecko OS. Smiley

Anyway, give me the results when you can.

Stage shouldn't matter unless you have stage modifing codes.

Please do it on Hyrule Temple for me.

4.2, but I have all the cracks and such that 3.3.1 had, which is needed to dump my discs.

If you look around the net, you can have 4.2 with the benefits of 3.2, as such there is no purpose in downgrading anymore.

I just put a loop rest on the GFX part of the jab.

I held A against a Metal D3 on a wall in Temple for 5 minutes and no freezing.

Please test it like I did. If it does freeze, it's because the GFX for the jab has no loop rest.

The C4 issue was known and is related to the extra bones, like what happens when Sonic does homing attack on one of the extra bones.

Time for another update.

An actual "quick" update this time, this one corrects the location of heavy items when GF carries them and Wario's bike will no longer glitch out when thrown.

Also included files needed for the effects to work correctly in single player,
as well as tweaks to bair's hitboxes.

Posting ot let you guys know that I successfully fixed his HaveN and now he has proper item swings.

To celebrate, I gave him a new Swing4 animation(Item FSmash).

I also restored his correct sword glow and Eye glow.

I hope to have a DL tonight after I clean the kitchen.

Yeah! I busted the glitch Cheesy it is kind easy cause it have been lying before our eyes whole the time.
one thing before we starting, you [COLOR="Red"]can't [/COLOR](for now) only do this with Tabuu, you need do to this in a hex editor.

* Your PAC file
* Your Custom model to see which bone you want
* Tabuu
* hex editor

* a Back-up of your PAC file
* a Original model to the character you are replacing to see which bone it are
* a Hex-to-Dec calculator (like windows calculator)

Step 1:
Open up your (Back-up) PAC in Tabuu and scroll down to "UnknownO" right above "Misc"

As you can see, this is the Item bones are.
The first one (0x000) is which bone the item will be attached to
the second one (0x001) is unknown but theory confirms if the character are left or right handed.

Step 2:
Open up your PAC file in a Hex Editor and go to the offest it are write there. For me and olimar, I need to go to 26440


Step 3:
Okay, this is a tricky part. You need to find out the value by yourself in this area. dont worry, they are pretty close ;3
it does look something like this

The red one is the first offset even known as the HaveN bone.
The blue one is the second offset even known as right/left hand bone.
Change all the value so it fits to the new bone you want to use, All the same value need to be replaced

Note: the first offset has often 3 value and the second offset has often 5 value.
Use your Hex-to-Dec calculator to get the right "hex".

Step 4:
after you have change those. SAVE the PAC in the hex editor. you dont need to save in Tabuu. if you used same pac in both tabuu and hex editor, close the file in tabuu first and THEN SAVE the pac in the hex editor.

Step 5:
Test  in game and PROFIT!

Change it to a other bone or look after what went wrong :3

okay, I guess some of you will ask why tabuu can't to this thing.
I tried it but there is no result in wii.
the problem is Tabuu only replace ONE value of 3/5 in each offset. all 3 and 5 needs to be replaced.

I noticed that the values for Olimar and MetaKnight are located 60 bytes after the file offset Tabuu outputs for UnknownO.

My broken moveset which will include param files to put in common3.pac via Brawlbox.

ItmParam.pac is empty, almost as if it's a template for something....

You need OpenSA2 to edit these item files.
