I never thought of it like that, but it would be similiar. I mean, the idea is to fight, but the guards are kinda like a hazard that gets in the way of it.
That sounds very hard, but it might be doable. I've seen 3D characters in stages, and I've seen near-fully flexible animation, so... But the guards themselves shouldn't shoot you too often or too effectively. It's not like they are the ones you're fighting, anyway.
Imagine fighting on top of the catwalk, then one of the guards see you, he then fires a few shots and runs away, and you can hear him call up on his radio, calling for backup. Suddenly you hear the sirens, then guards pour up to the catwalk, fire notstop and shooting anyone they see. If you drop down to the ground, the guards will toss and throw grenades over the side, or send a few guards to the ground to attack. If they can't find you anymore, or if you have defeated a certain number, the guards will leave.
The only problem is that the stage would be so hard to fight on due to the guards. Then again, that would be so awesome.
If that is somehow possible, we should make a version with and without guards.
I think Snake isn't all great, he one of the characters that i don't like.
Please, don't judge Snake by his Brawl appearence. Nintendo messed it all up and many Nintendofanboys think differently of him now. For example his default appearence, his horrible remixed songs, etc.
I guarentee, rent Twin Snakes for Gamecube for starters. I really enjoyed it. If you like the game, buy it, it's only $25. After you play the game and enjoy the cutscenes, you'll think differently. If you want to watch the cutscenes, go to youtube and type in "Metal Gear Solid the Twin Snakes walkthrough." Watch Carlitionsp1's walkthrough, he's really good.
Raiden's model by default isn't T-stanced like Brawl's models.
The arms need to be rotated before that can happen.
Until we can make that model MDL0 format, I can make port that Twin Snakes Heliport model over Shadow Moses Island! That would also mean Eternal Yoshi could make MGS4 SMI accuretely.

I was thinking if it would be possible that we could place a Genome Soldier model on the catwalk, a few in the snowy areas. If the one on the catwalk sees ya, he'll try to attack you and do the usual stuff that soldiers do if they spot you in most familiar Metal Gear Games.
We could model replace a Scope Primid with a Genome Soldier and put him on my stage?
I see... ha, you included the Box textures. I could use those. So basically we are supposed to convert those models to MDL0, or try to recreate the Raiden model onto a Brawl model?

What IS inside Link's MotionEtc? Sword textures or shield? All I see in Snake's MotionEtc is his weapon textures and animations. Which I find very fun to edit since you can do alot of interesting stuff with his weapons. (LIke Eternal Yoshi's Candy Cane Mortar)
I got a few touches to the Melee Snake that I haven't released yet, for example some face fixes, hair fixes, and more. That also includes ammo pack fixes as well. I'll send the minor updated too you.
Somone should rip textures from Fire Emblem and port Lyn's textures over her, and make those her default textures, just like how I did it with Gray Fox (though I never released it)
You're WireFrames are really hard to edit, and adding transparency effects is (im)possible. You should release them for now, or do you want me to do that for you?

Glad to be at service. I'll work on stuff that's not annoying. I find a few things you should post here. I remember talking to you on xat, and you said you would post the following things. You can consider them items, and yes, it pretains to Snake, but his [cardboard] boxes arn't old schoolish, (Meleeish) so I fixed this up, using textures from Metal Gear Solid the Twin Snakes (Game was for Gamecube, like Melee), just like how you made that Snake that is currently on this thread.

These frames are GETTING SO RETARDED. None of my transparency effects are working, and then if I try to change it's Palette, it crashes the game since the Palette I need is a larger file size. What causes the crash? The file bypasses it's file size limit.
If I don't change the palette, we got strange, and black colored frames from the transparency effects. !!!!! I'll work on other stuff, if you want me to AGFan.
